The last time that I dined at Bennigan's was in Atlanta in the 1990's. My go to meal was the Monte Cristo sandwich. I ordered it today, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection. It is honey wheat bread layered with tender ham, roasted turkey, Swiss and American cheeses. Batter-dipped, gently fried and coated with powdered sugar. Served with red raspberry preserves for dipping. We also had the Cheesy Potato Skins and Hogan's Egg Rolls for an appetizer....
