Extremely Disappointed – Used to Be My Favorite Spot

I’ve been coming to El Rodro since they first opened, but sadly, things have really gone downhill. Today’s visit was the final straw. I placed a simple to-go order and still had a terrible experience.

First off, the meat smelled like dog food—no exaggeration. It looked off-color and nothing like it used to. It was honestly scary to eat. The rest of the food was just as bad—looked and tasted awful. To make things worse, I was charged extra for something I wasn’t told about, and they forgot my drink.

When I tried to call and speak to a manager, they hung up on me multiple times—I hadn’t even said what I was calling about yet. Finally, I called from a different number and they picked up. The woman I spoke to passed me to a man who wasn’t a manager and told me to “call back when a manager is in.” Seriously?

The customer service was unacceptable, and I’m so disappointed because this used to be one of my go-to places. I don’t know what’s changed behind the scenes, but unless they turn things around, I won’t be coming back.

Never answered my call after talking to some young person not knowing what to do

The mules and the margaritas are wonderful and hit the spot the food is sooooo good a 10 out of 10

I'm not normally a Mexican food person but the enchilada was good and the martini was aswell spent more than I expected because of it but it was worth it

Went to location last night At 8:10 pm and on door says open til 9 pm Door was locked Manager saw me knocking and totally ignored me I left and went somewhere else Poor job by management at least could have acknowledged me

Takes forever to even see anyone or get a drink let alone your food. And its not busy.

The chips and salsa were lacking any flavor so we tipped and bounced. Sorry.

They weren't busy when we arrived and yet we had to wait several minutes to even get anyone's attention. After being seated it took forever for someone to take our order. We had a flag someone down to get a refill on the drinks. One gets the distinct impression that the employees are not enthusiastic about doing a credible job. As for the food, it was okay but certainly nothing that would put it above any other Mexican food place with far better service

Table was filthy, dried food stuck to it everywhere. Staff was unfriendly. Ending up not eating the food. I still paid for the food because I ordered it - but certainly won’t go there again. Don’t waste your time and money.

We appreciate the people, all the food (Chili Relino), other guest, and the atmosphere. What's not to like?
