No sides no drinks 2 tacos, 2 pcs fish, 1 slaw $20. Fish batter is thick and greasy, tartar sauce from a tube is greasy as well. Not coming back or to any other LJS.

Couldn't order till I pulled up to the drive up. Confusing how to get there. Looked really dirty in the back. REALLY dirty!!

Placed online $40+ for Urbandale store at 5:04pm. Was told 30 minutes later by."manager" that order had been given to someone else and they were starting over. Refused to give refund of any of $40+ bill. 20 something manager guy refused to give his name. Kept pretending he couldn't understand me. Thought he was being cute. Needs to be fired. After 45 minutes given bag of 3: shrimp dinners but no cocktail sauce. Pathetic "fast" food business. Do not come here, ever!

It was not a good experience at all. We were halfway welcomed. The cashier asked other employees about everything we ordered. Watched an employee emptying the garbage, put her hand in to push things down, not wash their hands after, touch cups and other things behind the counter. When we were sitting down, my daughter had an ant drop on her from the ceiling. There were a lot more ants crawling in and out of where the condiments were. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a week. Tables not wiped down. Food wasn't cooked all the way or was overcooked. Onions were translucent and limp. Tomato was very soft and not good. Upon leaving, the employees stared at us while we threw everything away and complained. It did not feel welcoming.

We ate there recently and we dined inside the restaurant. The food was good and consistent with any other Long John Silver’s. The restaurant had a bad odor, I mean “bring some Vick’s and put it under your nose if you are going to eat inside,” bad. The smell was coming from the men’s bathroom, but it was definitely not a smell like someone went in there and came out recommending to others to “not go in there for a while.” No, this was definitely a sewer smell that is going to require a professional to take care of. It permeated the restaurant to the point we mentioned it to the cashier who knew exactly what we meant and even knew of the smell. My question is why they would allow that to keep happening? Sure, it’s going to cost something to fix, but why would they want a smelly restaurant? I mean, if a plumber had been called, they should at least put up signs to say that. There weren’t any signs at all so I have to assume the management just doesn’t care or are nose deaf. So, my recommendation for others is to use the drive thru. The food is fine, just know that if you dare to go inside, you may lose your lunch from being nauseated by the smell.

Horrible service took over 30 minutes to get food and when we got it it was burnt and didn’t have medium cups and was missing lots of stuff don’t eat here

Haha well grew up loving this place but now it’s prob some of the worst fast food. But how hard can you judge drive thru deep fried sisco fish sticks. Anyway, it’s greasy and not good. For the starvation emergency it’s edible. Happy hunting!

I ordered a 2 piece with 6 shrimp dinner, a drink and added 2 extra fish. This cost me 26 75 which I found outrageous. I asked for lots of shrimp sauce and lots of salt vinegar. I got 2 shrimp sauce and 3 malt vinegar. Not what I would call enough, let alone a lot. Food was disappointing and too expensive for what I got. I won't be back.

I expected the heavy grease smell inside but not the heavy urine smell coming from the bathroom.
Paid $5.50 for the smallest portion of lobster bites I have ever gotten. And the lobster was mushy inside.

Saw an article talking about how great the LJS fish sandwich was. Tried it. Disappointed. Same piece of fish they use in their meals only on a bun. Cole slaw was good though. Fresh

Service was slow. Food very salty and barely warm. Sewer smell is horrible. Double bacon cheeseburger was soggy from the grease and had 1 piece bacon it. No garbage cans to dump trash into.

Went ate there today 4 of us like grease hasn’t been changed in awhile also was no root beer in a&w root beer my fish was hard like glob was hard on it like old fish over cooked same with my son and nieces cheese curds were over cooked and hard. Then heard a staff in back say they ate there food and been dropped by them only knows who food was it ours or few other couples in there least to say won’t be going back to that one to eat at

Wow I can see why long John silvers is closing stores this should be one of them. Stingy on the food chicken was cold and very tiny are you kidding me for an extra piece $3.09 you can really just lock your doors now because this is worst place yet. NEVER again
