Dirty Men's room, nothing to wipe your hand with. The salad bar fresh but below-average selection, the waitress never introduced herself, and didn't bring my root beer, the Brisket was very tasty my baked potato was nice. The root beer was small and when I was low she didn't offer me a refill. Oh well I'd come again for the food

Really good brunch at a good price. Staff was super friendly. The omelette station guy delivered my elderly mother-in-law’s omelette to the table so she didn’t have to stand there while he made it(She will not see this review lol). Thanks!

Went back for the Mac. And it was Good. Creamy not too cheesy. Brisket was tender.

Try their stuffed mushrooms, they have happy Joe's cheese and sausage on top and might be the best of all Shrooms this life has to offer!

Great guy making omelettes

Had dinner here 6-8-25 and it was exceptional. We both had the breaded pork tenderloin and the seasoned fries. Fast and very friendly service and fair prices.

I guess things are going downhill everywhere. I have stopped here many times. Always thought the food was pretty good. Tonight was not the case. Ordered the chicken pot pie. The topping was basically a pizza crust. Which actually wasn't too bad. The soup of it was good. But I could not chew up the chunks of chicken. It was like rubber. It is sad that the chicken pot pie from Kwik Star is better. I would talk about the service if there was some. Also, has been okay in the past. Maybe just a bad night. But it has put me off from wanting to return.

I must say this was a very good experience. The food was delicious and hot. Good ole fashioned too! My server was so happy go lucky and very pleased to serve me . The manager on duty that night was a friendly woman who I believe loves to make people smile and come back. Thank you to you all! I was very impressed.

Came here for the first time last night (10/19/2024) and it was an absolute pleasure. Ruth was such a sweet waitress and was so welcoming. The amount of food you receive is outstanding. We had to take it home and still have a whole meal left. The lady who took our money was so sweet and let us know about their famous breakfast buffet and lunch on Sundays. Unfortunately we were just passing through and couldn't attend. But we will be coming and staying down there just to wake up early for that breakfast. 10/10 recommend if you want a nice experience.

The food was excellent and decent sized portions. Service was good too. But the best thing was my friend and I had left there and got to Iowa City and realized she forgot her wallet. She called Gramma's and the gal went outside and found the wallet on the hood of the car. That was amazing of her to do that. She brought it inside for safe keeping and we picked it up later that night.

I usually don’t do these things saying as I work in the restaurant industry. But I had to rave about this amazing little find me and my family came up on coming home from Iowa. Totally loved the environment, super cute and cozy, it felt like we were eating at are grandmas house. We loved the food, great portions for a great price!! Service was amazing, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Seriously recommend stopping if you’re ever in the area!!
