I give it five stars because the food pretty good the service is pretty good and the prices are very, very fair. Unlike the places in Lake View that charge a small fortune Docs is an affordable place to grab a bite.

Good food, great prices, friendly service, clean, family owned. Cafe on one side and walk through to the bar next door. So bring the family or come with your posse. A stones throw from Blackhawk lake. Very nice for us locals and a nice day trip for those looking for a nice afternoon in western Iowa. I've been there many times over the years and never been disappointed.
