“Went today for lunch and they got super busy real quick but the waitress handled it like a champ! Food was fantastic. I had the pretzel sandwich, good flavor. Probably one of the better bar restaurants in town. Bloody Marys have just the right about of kick to them. My only “complaint “ is limited seating but that’s not always a horrible thing just be prepared they might not be able to host a bigger party“

“Had a horrible experience Mother's Day evening. my son-in-law is disabled and he has a service animal. We were humiliated by the way The staff approached us about the service animal. They immediately told us that service animals were not allowed in the bar. I believe they are about to get schooled on the Americans with disabilities act. SHAME ON THEM! It sucks this small town needs small businesses and I love this little town. It's just sad when you're treated this way after being in there several times in the last month with friends and family. I try to support local but this is left a bad taste in my mouth. and unfortunately I'm not the only one.“

“Typical Iowa Bar and Grill atmosphere and menu. I ordered the Tenderloin and Coleslaw, my friend had the Hamburger and Onion Rings. All of the food was excellent. The Tenderloin was medium sized, thick and juicy, large enough to take half of it home for a second sandwich. The Coleslaw is a vinegar based dressing, but very good. Our server was efficient and friendly. Food was hot and the beer was ice cold with a frosty glass. This is not fine dining, but great food, good service and reasonable prices.“

“Three for dinner. Sirloin steak, ribeye steak, and salmon. Sides of asparagus and shaved brusse sprouts with bacon. Each meal came with a generous side salad
Quality of steak and salmon for the price was excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and pleasant. A nice find in a strip of businesses. As visitors to Waterloo, we would highly recommend giving it a try.“
