“This place feels like being at a friend's home. It isn't the cleanest, but it has a welcoming atmosphere that feels real and not sterile. The food had amazing flavor and came out hot. The staff were kind and efficient. They have many tvs, if you are going to watch sports.“
“Seven of us in our party on a Friday night - super busy but a table was available right away. Our server was fantastic. Took a little for our food because of how busy it was. The noise level was high and difficult to talk to everyone at our table.Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the ones who had burgers, even the ‘lonely’ burger. My daughter stated the best burger ever.We will return during lunch and enjoy the atmosphere and wall decor without the noise level - great food and service!“
“Went there with a friend to listen to his cousin sing. I’m from Alabama and don’t get out much so it was nice to find somewhere to go where you don’t feel like a stranger. I really wish I could remember the name of the band that played because I really enjoyed their music.“
“I've been here twice. Both times the favorite meal was the Jack Daniel's Burger. The first time with pepper jack cheese instead of the Swiss and the second time with Swiss. I prefer the pepper jack, it gives it a little more bite. The onion rings or the fries are good. I love that they have Tip The Cow on tap.“
“Decent place for a beer and a meal. The food was good but nothing amazing. The server was nice, but I could tell she was overworked. Took an hour to get food from the moment we ordered. However, the server informed us about the long wait for food beforehand, so I greatly appreciated that.All in all, it's a decent place for a beer and a meal if in the area. “Hadn't been to Pump Haus in decades.... there are several great options in downtown Cedar Falls. Easy to forget some of the possibilities, but met up with some friends here. Had a burger topped with pulled pork and fries along with a couple of Surf Zombies. I was impressed. Attentive service and delicious food. I don't expect I'll wait decades to get back there.“
“I would highly recommend this bar as a great hangout with friends for a night out. I love the detail of all the guitars hanging from the ceiling!!! It was a space I felt safe in, which was a huge plus. I really enjoyed how professional and patient the bartender was, her name was Grace! She was phenomenal, she was quick, respectful, and knows how to make a drink for a picky person.. ME! Go check it out!“
