The food was good. The booths felt short compared to the tables, almost shoulder height and I'm just under 6 ft tall. Just felt odd, kinda like I was sitting up at a bar.

salsa tasted like carbonated water was in it - nasty. it was a to go salsa. expired or something added?!

I love this restaurant. I wish it was cheaper but it's totally in line with other similar places. Their chips are great and there salsa is very good. I've always had very good service. The atmosphere is awesome. I think the food is tasty. I think their fajita cheese crisp is great. It used to be cheap too, but of course, nothing is anymore. I wish we lived close to one of these places. I will say that we've loved this place for many years so this post may be a bit skewed by past history. If you haven't been here, you gotta try it.

The service was fantastic and the food came out quickly. The Long Islands are very strong but good and worth the $4 Wednesday price.

Kid-friendliness: Kid menus with coloring page and crayons. Decent sized portions. Staff is friendly and answered the kiddo’s questions.

The Cadillac Chimi was amazing. Absolutely delicious. I ate a little bit of the whole family's order and loved everything except the french fries.

Long Islands were proper strong. I felt it after a few sips, and it felt good!

Fried Ice cream was as good as I remembered from 20 years ago, albeit a little smaller.

Food was good but takes longer than most Carlos's. Chips can be on a lower level compared to the average. Often 1 to few waiters working and the restaurant is always cold.

Server was very friendy and attentive...
And while the food had a decent "flavor"...
The texture and presentation were atrocious.
I always take a good look around when a server tells me "watch out, that plate is hot"
Are they pre-plating their sides and letting them sit in the hot pass? Microwaving them? My beans were very dry. And nothing seemed "Fresh" except the lettuce on my taco.
However, as I said, the spices and flavor of the food was above average for the quality, and the server was very enthusiastic.

Most horrible food experience I've ever had. They acted like they couldn't have cared less to have customers. They were irritated that we wanted a certain table. They took forever to get a waitress. They got my order wrong even after i repeated it and acted like they were doing me a favor to give me the right order and took forever to bring it to me. Way to go to ruin date night. Will never return here again.

The food was excellent. The chips and salsa were great, and the tiki tacos were amazing!
They have a decent drunk special every night of the week and a daily happy hour.
