We love 1850, the food is great (try any of their salads they have the best lettuce), the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is one of the best year round. Patio out back is perfect for multiple occasions due to the cozy fireplaces ..can’t recommend enough!
Love the food here!! They have great apps, entrees, and a great breakfast. Best eggs benedict around. And when the weather is nice, the back patio is great to enjoy. We frequent this restaurant!

Quality of steak and salmon for the price was excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and pleasant. A nice find in a strip of businesses. As visitors to Waterloo, we would highly recommend giving it a try.
