Stopped here to pick up ice cream for a homebound friend. Went through the drive-through and ordered. Pulled up to the window and sat there for almost 10 minutes. No one ever came to the window. There was only one car in the parking lot so I drove by to see if there was a large family at the counter and only one person there. I won't be going back.

There was an incident while I was there with another customer being unruly towards staff. Staff handled it appropriately and we're more than polite to me. I was a bystander but the situation was well handled.

McKenzie….so she says that’s her name at the la Porte rd location.
I went in about a week ago with my grandkids. We were making an order for the 3 kids, 2 adults and orders to take home to the rest of the family. Makenzie was very rude at the drive-through pushy. No patience after each ice cream. I ordered she would say is that it? Is that it! Is that it! Very rude, fast talking and clearly annoyed, asked 5 times, Do you want anything else, I kept telling her I was not finished ordering that I had a big order. She kept saying are you done yet. I ended up driving off.
June 1st
Well this evening my husband and I went in drive-through ordered 2 cones got to the window. McKenzie told me it was $10 something. I asked her why it was so much. She said I don’t know, I just work here. I asked please tell me how much the cones are & she repeated the wrong order to me and I told her no we didn’t order a shake We ordered 2 cones, McKanzie closed the window and walked off on us. She obviously said something rude when she turned her back because everyone else inside the store looked at us. All I said was no we didn’t order a shake. Another young lady came to the window and apologized and took our order again after we already ordered at the speaker so this is my second run-in with this very rude young lady McKenzie.
I will NOT EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!
Honestly this little rude young lady does not need to be taking orders she needs to be fired!

Just got done walking here and as I walk up to the door I watch the door get locked. 7:15pm on a Friday. Lol. Says they're open until 9pm.

The location is easily accessible, staff is not unfriendly but they certainly seem to prefer not interacting with customers, cleanliness inside is hit-or-miss, but the menu selection is outstanding. Best place to get a crunch cone (or cup!) in Waterloo.
