Fire Em Up Bae Kitchen( Rodney kitchen)

Today, April 16, 2022, my husband and I had a wonderful meal. I had catfish, fries, and okra and my husband had the Steak Philly with potato salad. Very generous portions! Nice décor and very clean. Rodney is very personable. Took time to visit with us. Service was prompt. We'll definitely eat here again. Plan to bring friends next time. Worth the hour drive!

I recently had lunch at Rodney's. There was no one visible to greet me or to acknowledge I was there. Another customer pointed me toward the back of the room, and a waitress appeared. She was courteous and explained the menu items, and took my order. There was a tiny mixup on my order, but it did not detract from the meal. The food was good (catfish dinner). The place is very simple and clean. I would like to have felt welcome, and had someone thank me for coming in, and invite me back. With a more welcoming presence, I think the place could be a go-to for good food and relaxed dining.

Terrible customer service! Had shrimp poor boy. Oversized hot dog bun with a squirt of Mayo, shreds of lettuce and a tomato and 4 shrimp. I paid $12.99 for it and a small cup of prepare ( NOT HOMEMADE) potato salad. Oh and we can’t forget the cup of hot sauce. Menu advertises all these wonderful sides and he didn’t have a one of them. Only French fries. Overpriced for what you get and didn’t seem if he cared or not to get my business. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time or money on this overrated Soul food joint!

Fabulous! My son can’t stop talking about the fries! Seasoned perfect and crispy. Wings are excellent, BBQ pork delicious—service was friendly and fabulous. This place is a gem, worth heading out of your way if you like down home great taste with excellent service.

been awhile since i was there and impressed. Rodney was running everything the day my wife and i ate there. Food was great. rodney took our orders which he helped with questions, prepared and served the food. I inquired about an item not on menu and few minutes latter, he was at the table with a sample. HARD TO BEAT THIS PLACE
