Today, April 16, 2022, my husband and I had a wonderful meal. I had catfish, fries, and okra and my husband had the Steak Philly with potato salad. Very generous portions! Nice décor and very clean. Rodney is very personable. Took time to visit with us. Service was prompt. We'll definitely eat here again. Plan to bring friends next time. Worth the hour drive!
I recently had lunch at Rodney's. There was no one visible to greet me or to acknowledge I was there. Another customer pointed me toward the back of the room, and a waitress appeared. She was courteous and explained the menu items, and took my order. There was a tiny mixup on my order, but it did not detract from the meal. The food was good (catfish dinner). Fabulous! My son can’t stop talking about the fries! Seasoned perfect and crispy. Wings are excellent, BBQ pork delicious—service was friendly and fabulous. This place is a gem, worth heading out of your way if you like down home great taste with excellent service.
