Don’t let the low score fool you . This place is a hidden gem. Food options are limited in Waterloo but the food here is pretty bomb! Don’t let the low score. I got the double gyro sandwich. My other colleagues liked their rice platter. It’s like a Halal cart food in ny. Prices aren’t bad. Friendly workers. Would come back again.

Won’t go again. Went here on 6/3/25 got charged $10 for a menu item advertised at $8.99 (Illegal). Gyro was not particularly good and I had some stomach issues following eating it like many others have mentioned in reviews. I know a gyro and a burrito are not the same thing, but with Waterloo having a great Pancheros only 10 minutes away from this location there is no reason to go here. Pancheros is the same price for better, cleaner, tastier food, with better service and quality.

Only order fried food. I ordered a Gyro Salad, the lettuce was PURPLE! I told the man that the lettuce was expired, and his response was “It’s just colored”. Needs a food inspector to come in and verify if they’re serving legit food. Thankfully I asked for a redund because ik that will get someone sick! He also served me cold gyro meat, and when i confronted him about it, he just picked up the meat and threw it on the grill with all the sauce and everything still on it.

The food used to be delicious. My gyro meat was overcooked and dry. The Italian beef seemed as if it was a grocery store purchased. My hamburger didn't taste like beef. They have fallen off. I will not return.

It's very best place in Town for food folks I like this place and the food was very very good i like it i don't know why other people give negative review but really i like the way they suggest me for my food the best mix meat platter in the town there where no place late night for eating food I gone to this restaurant is very good food especially gyro sandwich meat was very good and crispy i suggested to my colleagues very good service they are very Hard worker

Been going here for years. Has always been my favorite place to go when I come to town. Stopped in last week and ordered the same thing I always get and the guys working were very irritated they had to stop scrolling on their phones to make my food. I didn’t even get what I requested, they threw what they wanted on my food instead of what I asked for. When I asked them to put in what I requested they threw everything on top making a huge mess. Not to mention the mushrooms were rotten. Including a picture of the bag full of rotten mushroom juice that leaked from the container on my way to the hotel. It was completely inedible. Called back and was told they wouldn’t remake it even though it was literally covered in rotten juice.
