Hansen's Dairy Waterloo (Moo Roo)

We go regularly for Ice cream. Always friendly, helpful staff. Clean, fun atmosphere. Offers fresh Vegetables, sourdough bread, etc. from other small family businesses. Highly recommend!

Delicious. We all got scoops(dips) of ice cream at Hansen’s. We got Chocolate cookies and cream, cookie dough, Monster cookie, caramel cup, peanut butter cup, cherry and chip. They were all delicious. This store is filled with local items from Iowa such as bbq sauce, rubs for bbq, honey, shirts from the dairy, all kinds of cheeses, milk, local meats and more. Prices were very reasonable and I recommend you stop by if you are anywhere nearby. Service was amazing!

The ice cream tasted so good! I loved their flavors. I got chocolate cookies and cream and Cookie Monster. We also got cheese curds, cookie dough balls and other treats. They were so nice. We hope to come back again! ❤️🙏

Visited the farm as part of VGM Heartland Conference optional activity! Jordan was our guide and was wonderful! Midwest hospitality at its finest and the tour included the best treats to snack on. She was great with the group and answered all of our questions with so much patience and pride. Would bring my family back if I was ever passing thru again. Highly recommended the tour! The animals were beautiful and you can see how much care is put into the farm.

I just tried milk from Hansen's Farm Fresh Dairy today, which I purchased at HyVee in Cedar Rapids. Its WONDERFUL, so fresh and flavorful! I like to support family owned businesses and am looking forward to trying more Hansen's products!

Tremendous ice cream in any form or flavors. Great place to come into. Prices are very fine and you can't beat this entire venue!!

Attended the Merry Dairy Christmas event today with our granddaughter and it was so fun and festive!!! From the kangaroo who greeted us at the door, we were welcomed with the most wonderful staff !!! It was truly a joy to see employees/helpers loving what they do. Kudos to the management team. We played BINGO, decorated cookies, loved on the new calf, talked with Santa and more! What a great event!!!

You can't appreciate what the Hansen family does until you tour their dairy. My Wife and I loved the kangaroos, feeding the calves, milking a cow, making butter and touring the facility. Their fresh dairy products are amazing, especially the cheese curds. We live in West Tennessee and don't have regular access to Hansen Dairy products so, to those in the Hudson, Iowa area, y'all are so fortunate to have this fine family dairy. And to Jordan, thanks for the tour!
