Slow service. Mid quality food. Asked twice for one refill and still had to wait until my food was almost gone. This is after walking up to the bar and, again, requesting for a refill. You’d be better off at a Perkins.

The breading of the chicken made a family members mouth and my own bleed from how dry and rough it was. An entire bottle of sauce couldn't help. Other than that, exceptionally

Woe, they were very busy, but they did a great job. I had broasted chicken, and it was delicious. The rolls were very good, too.

The sirloin steak was tender & juicy, and the chicken wrap was very tasty. Side dishes were tasty also. Service was quick and friendly even though we arrived near the end of a very busy lunch hour. Overall, the place was much better than our last visit about 5 years ago.

I’m not sure if it was an off night or what the deal was but I’m reminded as to why I don’t go here often (last visit was 4 years ago). The pros of my visit would be the ability to make a reservation (that was awesome and got seated right away). Had a party of 4 and the waitress I’m assuming was stretched a little thin as after bringing out the salad and drinks didn’t check back till the food came out which was at least 25 minutes (needed a refill of salad and drink by then). Regarding the food, the only positives were my homemade chips were good and the salad. The cons would be everyone’s food was overcooked except for the prime rib although the flavor of the prime rib didn’t taste the best compared to others. My buffalo chicken wrap was the driest wrap I’ve ever had and if you factor in the chicken, it seemed very dry or overcooked. Another person got the broasted chicken which again was super dry. The pork chops which someone else got were equally dry as the chicken and the mixed vegetables side had some portions of it that were cold. The place was super busy, so I’m guessing it was an off night as I can’t see how a place would be that busy serving food that was subpar. It will probably be another 4 years or longer before I crave to go back. :)
45 minutes to wait for a hamburger and chicken sandwich. The salad came out pretty quickly, and it is only lettuce. There is a good selection of dressings, but you can get bored, waiting for your food.

We ordered the 3 sampler appetizers with fried potatoes, fried pickles and fried mushrooms. The server brought out salad and rolls and their dressings are all made "in house". We ordered 2 sodas, a Blue Moon and the Captains Punch, which was $10 for that drink (overpriced). Our main courses we ordered Prime Rib with the 4 cheese pasta (THIS I recommend!) and Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken portion seemed on the small side and his steak was undercooked to his liking in the middle. We did arrive around 7pm though and felt rushed... Next time we'll have to arrive earlier and see.

We were in town for the high school state bowling meet and wanted somewhere other than a big name chain restaurant. We will come back next time we're in town! Good food (baked fish, ribeye, hot beef, soup), great service, and nice atmosphere for us 45-70 year olds!
