No customers when we arrived. 1 Table was not cleaned and remained that way when we left over an hour &1/2 later. 1 cook and 1 waiter who was not trained and definitely not experienced, but very nice. The food order was not correct, items on the menu were not available charged for extras but didn't receive. Waiter didn't return to the table to check with us. He dropped off ✔️ and still did not return to collect. Stood and waited to pay while another worker stood around doing nothing, I wasn't aware he was even there. Oh and the English muffins were the worst definitely a poor quality generic brand. Not our usual experience.

We visited IHOP on a Sunday at 10:15am. We were asked if we would like a table or booth. We were seated in Gloria J's area. I am assuming Gloria is the person who helped us. She was quick to bring us coffee, cream, and pour our first cup. She said "the coffee always tastes better when someone else pours it". She was right! She patiently took our orders while we made our different selections. Gloria returned with our orders in just under 10 minutes. The food was great. Gloria made us feel like the most important people in the restaurant, despite the fact they were quite busy. She has a gift for providing exceptional customer service. Exceptional food, quick delivery, and exceptional service from everyone.

First and last time at this Waterloo location. We were seated in Kaylee's section. She has 1 other table, there were 11 people mostly teenagers. It literally took 45 minutes to get our food. My BLT had 1 1/2 strips of bacon! Our waitress never brought refills, when it was time for the check i had to ask another waitress. Kaylee finally brought the check I gave her my credit card. I asked for a detailed bill as it was over $30 for 2 people! She said "I already gave it to you" i said no, you took it when you ran my card. I again asked for the breakdown she disappeared. After about 10 minutes I was tired of waiting I got up to leave I was almost at the door and she SCREAMED "Ma'am". I turned around and said do not yell at me!! The party of 11 plus the Hostess was standing there. I will NEVER step foot in a restaurant where the staff screams at me again! I did call the Manager he said he would handle it. He did offer free entrees but I told him I will not go to where I am not welcomed or valued. Sad part is I still left her a tip, I guarantee the table of teenagers she was so worried about didnt.

Hadn't been in IHOP for over a year and thought, okay, new server, new cook, I'll try again. Worst service ever!!! Server was more interested in talking with coworker than taking our order. When she finally came over, no matter how much I explained to her, she couldn't get it, PERIOD!! Manager came over, explained to her what I was trying to say, notified the cook then he left the premises. First, let me say, I ordered 2 Spicy Poblano Omelettes for me and my husband, his with country potatoes, mine with hash browns, his with toast, mine, extra hash browns. She just couldn't understand anything. I was so annoyed that I couldn't talk anymore. I finally, seething with annoyance said fine to everything. What happened when she finally brought our food, neither Omelettes had serrano peppers in them nor topped with the Poblano cream sauce. My husband got his country potatoes but was told my hash browns were coming. 15 minutes later, she brought me my hash browns. They were cooked on one side only!! They were cold on the bottom, that side never touched the grill!! She knew I was upset and avoided us till we got up to pay. Worst service, worst food, waste of $36.25!!!

I remember coming here all the time for breakfast. We were in and out with great food.
This place is a lot dirtier now, the employees seem miserable, and they take AGES!! Jesus, what the hell happened to this place?? It's depressing and all 3 of my last experiences have been worse and worse. I hesitate to give anything less than 3 stars, because this place was great.
Hopefully my next experience will be enough to have me update this review.

I had gotten pancakes and chicken strips and I took a few bites of pancakes and then noticed the pancakes had mold on them. Plus we waited over 30 minutes for our food. I also noticed one of the cooks rub their eye and didn't wash his hands
We walked in and noticed it wasn’t busy. Tables weren’t cleaned off and people where waiting 45 mins to a hour for there food. We didn’t think anything of it and we ordered our food. I decided to time them to see how long it took. It took them 50 mins to bring out are food which was cold. My eggs were raw. Bacon was way over cooked and my gravy tasted terrible. My boyfriends pancakes where cold.other people that came in after us got there food before we did. Are waitress was on the phone the whole time and it took 30 mins for someone to let us pay. Worse place ever

This IHOP is always so very slow when it comes to services even after being seated for 10mins no one comes to even ask for drinks and once they approach they always have that grumpy look and unhappy to be working at IHOP, they don't even know how to greet even if I say hi and good morning. People please do not work to any restaurants if you're not even happy to do your job, it makes customers have a bad day as well.
