La Cava Mexican Bar & Grill

I'm so sad, I have tried La Cava twice & both times been disappointed. The service is not as good as it was at El Barco & the food we had wasn't what we ordered.

The food and wait staff are terrific

I had the Burrito Chile Colorado and a tamale. The sauce that comes with the burrito has a real nice flavor and heat to it. The steak in the burrito is chopped steak which makes eating the burrito a lot easier. The rice and beans were pretty dang good as well. The tamale was as good as you're gonna get around here. From the food to the atmosphere this place is definitely one of my favorites now

not sure what kind of carne asada this is… it was terrible. weird cut of meat, seasoned terribly had a weird fake limey taste & got cold very quickly despite coming out on a sizzling platter. i turned the some of the meat over and this is what it looked like. disgusting. also gave me the smallest dallop imaginable of sour cream & guac.

Took over an hour to receive our food. Server told us several times just a few minutes and our food would be out. Tables that came in after us were given their food and done before we received ours. We had to exceptionally well-behaved 4 year olds who were very patient thank goodness.

Had a street burrito. Food was great but I don't think a salad with a burrito is really a good choice. Stick with rice and beans. Only about 5 tables had people but service was super slow.
Chorizo queso was bomb though.

Have been to La Cava twice now and have been impressed both times. The food and drinks were great and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Well. This one looks really nice and the food is good. I know they’re new but an hour wait to sit then another hour for our food is not acceptable. There’s parties being sat before other parties often. I feel bad for the group that had to watch two of our tables get sat before them after they were here 15 minutes before us. Get it together amigo. Mass tables and mass rapido cleaning them. Get the kitchen putting out food faster. You have the ability find the determination to get it done. This can be a five star place if you figure out your problems.

Had lunch today @ this very lovely decorated Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend. Food was yummy &service was & very attentive.

Seriously the most beautiful burrito I’ve ever seen. I was staring at it the whole time and kept telling my boyfriend, “that looks SO good.” He said the steak was well-seasoned. My birria tacos were pretty good and very filling.

The food was tasty, but I have to admit that the service was a little iffy, which was kind of weird since we went around 4:00 on a Monday when it wasn’t busy. We weren’t sure who our sever was since 4 different employees checked in/waited on us throughout our visit. The service didn’t really detract too much from the experience- just something I noticed.

Overall, we had a good meal, and I’ll definitely be back to try their specialty margaritas.

Pretty good place for Mexican food. I had birria tacos and it was on par as other birria in town. Will come again.

Our first time there was Friday 2/22. They were very busy. Our online reservation got lost but they got our group of 7 in quickly. I think the kitchen was having some issues. Our food took quite a long time and one person hadn’t gotten their meal when everyone else was finished. I asked and they happily comped his meal and packed it to go. The food was excellent and plenty! Ana was our server and did a fantastic job. The one star on Service was not because of Ana, but because of how long the food took and the missing order. Ana kept her calm and a smile on her face. We will be back, to try again!

I was in town trying to look for some authentic Mexican food and was pretty disappointed here. Very Americanized so it wasn't the best to be honest. Service was a bit on the slower side. The atmosphere was "ehhh" but clean.
