Well, Wrestlemania was pirate themed so a Pirate themed meal was in order. As LJS is so rare, I found it a treat to find one open and actually doing their jobs well. It was a real treat. Highly recommend this one.

Wanted to order inside, but sign on the door said dining room is closed and door was locked. They are not even allowing people to come in to order. They are forcing you to use the drive thru or 3rd party delivery apps. Business details were not updated. Disappointing.

The drive thru sign and card reader needs to be updated. Also cashier Lori G. was paying more attention to her phone when taking our order and processing our payment.

Drove an hour to eat there and the dining room was closed. I understand that staffing issues have hit hard everywhere, but that is completely unacceptable to not have it posted on your website. A sign on the door was the only indication. Even the marquee just says Now Hiring. Nothing about the dining room being closed. Thanks for nothing.

Was bummed we couldnt dine in due to plumbing being fixed. There also was a sign about closing early due to short staffed, I am so happy we made it in time as we don't have one near home! I noticed the workers through the window getting our order ready. I was very pleased to see they were all working together to make it right in a timely manner. I still don't understand why ours closed in Mason City.. the food is amazing and if you had staff like this in every chain what could go wrong?

Went to LJS last week I ordered a fish and shrimp combo add a piece of fish got my food and drove to a park to eat because they don’t have the dining room open due to being short staffed when I got to the park and opened my box I had one piece of fish I called the store and told them they took my name and address and said they would send me a coupon for my meal that was a week ago and still no coupon I live in Cedar Falls it should have gotten here by now I really like LJS but don’t think I will be back since I can’t even get what I ordered

They had given me the wrong type of burger ,we ordered a cheeseburger with 2 things bacon and cheese but we got like 3 three things we did not want on my burger and it took forever to get a new one and the bathrooms were dirty

Always come here when I visit Waterloo.. I have to have my LJS every chance I get. miss the lobster bites..
My husband & I stopped in this establishment for dinner tonight. We both ordered a platter of 2 cod fish & 6 shrimp which included 2 sides. We had a coupon for $ 2.00 off each platter and the bill still came to $ 29. & change. While waiting for our order, I noticed an employee dipping shrimp into a batter with his bare hands. No gloves in sight. Do we know if this employee washed his hands lately? I found it to be deeply disturbing that this employee would be preparing food and then walk away to do something else and come back to preparing food without washing his hands or wearing gloves. I don't recommend this place if you are concerned with cleanliness or what is touching your food.

Food is delicious and fresh. Staff is friendly. The inside of the store needs a little tlc. The floors are super greasy. When I was sitting at the table, my shoes were sliding all over. My daughter slipped and fell because of how greasy it was.

I enjoy this LJS! My food is always fresh and delicious. Just this past time I went it was super greasy, like it went straight from the fryer into the box. Otherwise I love eating here. The drive thru people are always so super nice!
