Our first time here cannot wait to come back food was delicious made right in front of you and wow do the cooks have a system down the grill was continuously full of food and they navigated it perfectly!! Katey and Chris are the master chefs ( Good luck on the ring hunt and best wishes for you both) ,Darian and Jane were our waitresses and both did a great job Jane has been there for a hot minute and she definitely knows all the roles and is able to trouble shoot where needed she is truly an asset to this restaurant !! Tasha was great keeping the platters and plates full as they went through a lot while we were there!! The food is delicious the pancakes are literally bigger than a large Frisbee and cooked through and fluffy and so so good, my wife had the ham and sausage omelet with hashbrowns and raisin toast simply the best she has ever had and she is picky!! Keep up the great work

Great little place that serves really good food!We went to Morg's for breakfast after we had an appointment in Waterloo. When we arrived, we were a bit surprised that there was a wait to get seated. But decided it must be a sign that the food was worth the wait. Once seated, we again were surprised that the prices seemed higher than expected. But since we don't go out to eat as often as we used to, we ignored the prices and ordered. I had the corned beef hash and eggs while my wife got a pecan pancake with the intent that we'd share everything. The hash was really tasty and the portions were generous. The pancake was gigantic! I know it was just a pancake. But I'll be darned if it wasn't the best pancake ever!The coffee was included in the price of breakfast and was delicious as well.Definitely not a place to pop in when you're pressed for time. But if you want a good, old fashioned diner breakfast, Morg's is the place to go!
Best breakfast in Waterloo Iowa Sometimes on Saturday they are super busy and there is a wait for seating. But it's worth the wait. Servers are friendly and the food is great.

Morg's offers a friendly welcome, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options for the diner. I had the Chicken and Noodles for lunch accompanied by their delicious pea salad and potato salad. The lunch was very delicious and very hearty! The service was extremely friendly, and it was a wonderful experience. It reminded me of a diner we frequent at home! Thank you for the terrific service and meal! Give Morg's a try if you're in the Waterloo area!!
