This is exactly what we were looking for! We’re in town for the National Wrestling tournament all the way from Utah and we wanted GOOD FOOD! We didn’t want fast food but are obviously unfamiliar with the area. So glad we stopped! We got fried catfish, pork chops, and shrimp boil and it was AMAZING! The fish and fried okra were fresh! The owner was so nice and good conversation! Thanks for having us! ❤️❤️

Really had high hopes for this place because of all of the pictures of the food on their Facebook page and from the reviews. I hate to be that person because I work in the service industry myself but I had tried to come to this “establishment”, which has 2 different addresses listed on google. At both of which I couldn’t see anything to even make me think that there would be a business there. Several months ago I attempted to locate it and couldn’t find it then either and on top of that both phone numbers listed on fb page and on google are constantly going to voicemail. If you aren’t going to answer your phones during your listed “business hours” you’re just turning away paying customers.

Listen up. If you're not ready for an absolute culinary masterpiece of heart, soul, and love. Then you're not ready for the magnificence these ladies have to offer. The catfish was hands down the best I've ever had, fried okra was magnificent with just a hint of spice, Philly cheese steak was hot tender and phenomenally delicious, and the collard greens..... I don't even like collard greens but I'll have an order next time I'm in town I assure you of that. Don't sleep on this one. Go meet my new best friend and get some soul in your belly. I'm coming back for that boudin next time too.

The food was out of this world. We started with the fried okra. It was breaded and fried to perfection. We ordered the crab boil. The crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn just melted in my mouth. It was seasoned perfectly. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy. And to top it all off, the staff was so personable and welcoming. We live 2 hours away, and we will definitely be returning.

The food and hospitality are amazing. We felt so welcomed with the wonderful person sitting outside and waving us in when we pulled up. We had the crab boil, mac and cheese, fried okra and greens. We will come back again soon. I highly recommend you check it out. This food was made with love.
