There are certain things in life that you can not imagine living without, things like air conditioning and coffee. I do not need them to survive, but once I have had them, I cannot do without. That is exactly how I feel about the peanut butter donuts at Rockets. I originally tried them when they were served only in the LaPorte City Bakery and now that they are available only a few blocks away, my life just became a little bit better.

I ordered the Long John donut with oreo pieces and lived it. The donut was really soft and tasted good, and the oreo pieces were fresh and crispy, not soft like you'd find on old oreos that have been sitting out. I should also note that the donut was extremely sweet, almost too much for me. However, given what I ordered, I should have expected that.

This is my favorite bakery! I am in love with the maple bacon donuts!!! I know sounds very odd and different... I said that also. Trust me... Delicious!!! They have a huge selection and if they are out of what you are looking for they will make you up some! Very friendly staff and reason prices!
