I wouldn't rate it bad but not 5 star either. I only tried to chai tea and it was okay

Cup of Joe is such a staple to Main Street. Having gone for years it’s great to see a local spot thrive with quality products from their fresh baked goods, kind owner and staff.

Seating can be tough but grab a sign if you’ve got extra space at the table for others to join. It’s truly a gem of a place!

Always loved getting coffee at the location in mercy one at Waterloo but today I had a bad experience my cashier did not speak to me no hello or anything but proceeded to say hello to the two customers who were behind me that were white and me being black I get treated like I’m invisible. I will no longer support this business I’ll go scooters instead!!!

Service is always lagging, I don't know it's an understaffing issue or what but it's been an issue for quite sometime.

The new Sidecar points system is a disappointing move that negatively affects regular customers. I hope you will reconsider the $200 spend for one free coffee. There is no longer an incentive to visit Sidecar over other coffee shops.
As far as this specific location is concerned, it’s spacious and clean but normally loud. Carrying on conversations here can be challenging at times.

I ordered an oat milk (unfortunately they did not have almond milk) latte with honey and cinnamon. It was perfectly sweet, just strong enough and it had a very good flavor.

Best coffee in the Cedar Valley!

Recommend to not order the coffeee. I came here after a long pause because the coffee here is not good. I ordered just a regular brewed coffee and it's weirdly sour and too acidic. Not sure if that is what kind of coffee beans is used but it's almost chemical in flavor. I tried without creamer to make sure it's not the milk that went bad. Coffee is not good at either locations. I gave the benefit of doubt that it must be the machines or how they are cleaned but this is almost their normal type of coffee. Everything else tastes fine, if not great. Just their coffee is aweful and I would not recommend it. I have to give 2 stars because as a coffee shop, they have terrible coffee. I was offered a latte to replace the coffee after I complained to see if it was their machine that ws giving it an aweful taste. Great customer service but terrible coffee.

Nice surprise to see the pastries being made fresh with proper espresso here. The only negative is that they're a bit slow to greet customers in person. It wasn't just me, but also the next person who walked up. I think it's a problem with multiple employees wearing headsets and worrying more about the drive thru and not having anyone dedicated to receiving folks ordering in person.

Ordered in drive-thru, 15-20 minutes until I even got to the window with only 1 car ahead of me. I was handed the card machine to process payment myself, handed me the wrong drink, and when I got the “right” drink(optimist), had hardly any flavor to it. I understand we all get our bad days, but I don’t know what just happened.

Other coffees are good but do not get the cold brew!! Worst cold brew I’ve ever had so bitter couldn’t even take more than 2 sips

Every thing was great! And my food and drink were amazing and tasted great but my mom got a brew coffee and it tasted very burnt but everything else was good
