The food was great, the drinks were good too! I was there for a seminar, so my food and drinks were free.So I don't know price wise how they were, but everything definitely tasted good.

Not impressed. They were out of one of the limited brews, the Bleu burger has a blueberry jam, which was an interesting contrast but it was too overwhelming. Sat at the bar and had to ask for silverware and napkins when my food came out. The poor guy next to me never got any napkins so I handed him some of mine. The bartender didn't offer water or another beer until I was obviously ready to leave. The buffalo chicken chili is really good though.

We stopped in for a bite and a beer after the Waterloo Irish Fest wrapped up on Sunday. I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts; they were so good, we placed a second order! We enjoyed our beers, as well. We will stop again if we are in town.

Fantastic ambience, kind people, great product.
We were in Waterloo for an appointment. We were looking for a quick espresso after lunch. The web sent us to this address. Brody welcomed us and very kindly explained that Sidecar had graduated to its own storefront! We couldn't stay, but the building's appeal and Brody's energy made us wish we could. I found where to buy close to home and picked up a six-pack of Gable. Delicious!

This has to be one of the better places to eat in Waterloo. There's not many options in the city that doesn't have the same menu as most restaurants. If I come back, I'm going here.

Food was good! We waited over 30 minutes to get 3 beers... then we waited another 45 minutes for our food. Insane. It looked like everything was out just couldn't get to tables? No, it was not packed... lots of seats available. Multiple customers complained, guys next to us just walked out before food showed up. Get rid of the virtual menu, serve your customers. RESPONSE: If thats an overwhelming amount of business, I wish you well. There were open seats and we were nowhere near the Ragbrai masses. More open seats after people left... unfed.

It is a nice place but we had a party of 7 and some people got their food while two of us sat there for 45 minutes without. We ended up cancelling our order. Drinks come out easily but not food. This place needs to step up their self service app. Jerry the manager did not take responsibility for the issues and blamed it on it being busy - yes there were people but not overwhelming. If you go there pray you do t have a bad experience as management won’t help you.

We have been waiting for our food for 1:30 hours. They bring one plate and leave the rest. So one person eats all her food, and we don't have outs yet. So, it is not recommended for groups to come here. You never know when you will finishing. Also you pay in advance so is complicated to cancel your order and go to another place.

Liars! These terrible people told me food would be 45 minutes over the phone and when we got here, the woman told us first that it would be two hours then it would be there’s no food then it would be not deliverable until 11 PM and that was 2 1/2 hours from where we were so which one is it lady? You lied.

The person working the bar said to sit wherever but when we sat down there was no QR code so we had to find someone and once we got a table, it took them 15 minutes to acknowlege us. Then, once we finaly had our order taken, they came back twice to say they were out of what we ordered. This was our first visit and we don't plan to return.
