I had a terrible experience at Tokyo Bay. We waited over an hour and a half for our food, only for the server to come to our table with completely wrong orders, realizing they had mixed up the tables. To make matters worse, the wrong cook who came to our table first hit my foot and didn’t even bother to apologize. Every table around us, despite arriving later, was served their food long before us. When my steak finally arrived, it was rare instead of the medium-rare I requested. When I brought these issues to the manager, Anna, instead of apologizing or trying to help, she became loud and argumentative, refusing to acknowledge they were in the wrong. The customer service here is beyond unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Tiger rolls, hand rolls, egg rolls, rice, noodles, scallops, miso soup and the shrimp appetizer were all good. This is now my favorite place. The food is fresh to order. Nothing is sitting under a lamp. Very clean place.

The atmosphere was decent. People were nice. I got a dragon roll, and it looked like it sat out all day. Had brown around the edges of the avocado and fish. Didn't taste fresh.

Our family has tried many hibachi restaurants and this one is the best hands down. No competition out there. We’ve tried hibachis in Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa and this here is the best. I love their house dressing! The rice and noodles. Everything you order is great, they don’t disappoint on flavor ?

We skipped the hibachi experience and ordered a salmon and chicken combo with added swordfish that came with miso, salad, veggies, rice, and noodles. The miso was perfect temp and quality with a sprinkling of mushroom and green onion. The salad was fresh topped with fried onion strings and ginger dressing. Although the salmon was very tasty, the swordfish tasted very fishy. We didn't eat it and weren't charged for it. The chicken was hit and miss. The veggies were perfect. The fried rice was tasty, but the rice was definitely overcooked, and the noodles were noodles. What I most enjoyed were the crab rangoon and soft shell crab rolls we also ordered. To our tasty surprise, the rangoon rolls were the hit. The restaurant was well staffed, and they were well groomed and uniformed. Service was attentive and genuinely courteous. The restaurant was well maintained inside and out. It is a large, spacious, and well ventilated place with very high ceilings and plenty of seating. The front with table seating for ordering and the back for the hibachi experience. The bathroom had a pleasant smell. It's much better than most. Unfortunately for me, bathrooms are never missed.
I started in on the rolls before pics ?

The food is consistently great here. Just expect to pay a bit more. But worth it on occasion. Ginger salad is a favorite!
