When I had a mishap with my DoorDash order, the staff here were quick to help and remake my order for me at no extra cost. They were very apologetic although it was not a problem on their part at all. They wrote me a note with some kind words and threw in a free cookie when I came to pick up my new order. I appreciate the kindness and their willingness to help so much!

Tasty food on the healthier side. As the name implies, The smoothies are the point. If you are just coming for food you are missing out.
Vegetarian options: Anything here can be turned veggie by subtracting the meat.

I just stopped at Tropical Smoothie Cafe for the first time and I was impressed. The smoothie was fantastic, I enjoyed the chicken and cheese quesadilla, and the service here was wonderful. The place was clean and inviting with indoor seating limited but more outside. I will definitely be back.

Unbelievably good drinks and food. I'm so bummed they are only in Waterloo. The only smoothie place we got nearby in Cedar Falls is a MLM scam.
Great place. I hope it never gets eaten by a big company and ruined because it's such a lovely nostalgic kinda experience.
