I was out doing some doordashing and decided to take time off to eat. I wasn't really satisfied with how my bowl was made. I only asked for a smaller portion of rice and a small portion of vegetables but ended up giving me small portions of everything. This was not what I had expected. I eat at Chipotle at least once a week at a different store and always know how much product is expected on the bowls.

Came to enjoy an early lunch with my family. Service was quick. Food was good. As we were sitting in the lobby eating, we watched one of the employees sweep the floor with gloves on. Another customer came in, and that employee did not change gloves. He proceeded to serve the customer with the gloves he was wearing while he swept the floor. Really concerned if he had done the same before serving us….

Do NOT order delivery from this location. In fact, think twice about ordering delivery from Chipotle, period. They did NOT make my order correctly. My bowl clearly DID NOT include the fajita vegetables I asked for, though even the label states they're in there. None. Nada. No fajita vegetables included. You can't call to complain. They don't accept calls-- it's all automated. The automated system will not let you make a complaint. The automated response is that they do not have time to take phone calls! If you state that you picked up, you are told to refer back to the email confirming your order. If you order thru Door Dash, they want you to complain to the driver. This is NOT a Door Dash problem. The Door Dash driver did not make my burrito bowl. Of course, it could never be their staff, who actually make the food! Do I want to put my shoes on and drive up to complain? No. Should I have to? Absolutely not. I get it! People make mistakes. It happens. But, how frustrating to give a company business that won't make mistakes right, or even give its customers an opportunity to just get their orders made correctly. We certainly paid for it!
You just made REPEAT customers into non-customers. This is terrible customer service. I won't hesitate to share my story, either. All because of terrible customer service in the form of an automated machine that told me its employees don't have the time to take my phone call and make my order right-- yet they had time to take the order and take the money!

My burrito is great however the chips are stale. No crunch to these bad boys AT ALL. I was looking forward to the chips and queso buy i am sadly disappointed.

I've been in here almost weekly for the last couple months and have yet to encounter any issues. Not a single incorrect or bad order.
The place hasn't been open super long, but whatever struggles they had early on have been resolved. I'm guessing most of the negative reviews are from when they just opened and where getting staff up to speed.

The employees are very rude And condescending. I really Order double steak The second scoop was so Little. I wanted a vinegar tgey saud they dosnt gave It. I could see It From The fridge. I even told them i would Pay for It. Tyey need To cleam houze And find new employees. Never Going Back there again. I payed 21 for a bowl And i was not happy.
Literally go to any other Chipotle in Des Moines. Out of chicken at noon. Got a quarter of a scoop of steak instead and a friggin’ LAKE of sour cream. Almost inedible.

Had a catering order that totaled over $500. I was a bit upset that my catering was 20 minutes late (which resulted in lunch being late for the office, which had a domino effect on all meetings for the remainder of the day) but mostly because the sense of urgency was not a factor as I watched them all move at a nonchalant speed, while getting my catering together and helping the line of people coming in for lunch. As someone who has managed restaurants, I was tempted to go behind the counter and help complete my own order. Catering was set for 12pm, however, at 12pm they hadn't even cooked the steak for my catering order, which resulted in steak that was not complete cooked. The kicker was the 3 large bags of STALE chips they gave me that were completely inedible. I can only imagine how old they were. Wont be ordering from here for our office lunches ever again.
