One star because ordering was ok, the food tastes just fine but our order was messed up. When I tried to call the store at 10:03 pm, phone number didn't work. I contacted our delivery driver because he hadn't been able to find us (that is totally understandable) and asked to speak to his boss because store phone wasn't working. The manager decided to argue with him, I guess, instead of calling me back like I requested. How else am I suppose to contact them to say- hey, mistakes happened- can it be fixed if not now, perhaps later. But still no call back from them and I'm going to harass the delivery driver because this isn't on him. I am beyond frustrated because I love pizza hut but this is ridiculous! It may be a new location but when a customer can't reach them, why not reach out, like was requested, and try to resolve the issue? Not how to do business at all. Very disappointing experience.

Extremely disappointing experience at this Pizza Hut. My order was made incorrectly, and I was told it would be ready by 5:02 PM. I arrived on time, only to end up waiting 20 minutes—finally getting my food at 5:22 PM. There was only one employee working, struggling to keep up with orders, which isn’t fair to them or the customers. The lack of staffing and poor order management made this a frustrating visit. Definitely not the level of service I expect.

Not only do they charge a ridiculous delivery fee that doesn’t go to their employees but use DoorDash to have it delivered. Should be illegal. Hopefully the DoorDash person actually ends up with the tip but I have my doubts. Email confirmation said 5:30 delivery it’s 6:15 still no pizza. Won’t order again.

I cannot recommend this store for delivery. They make the typical Pizza Hut product. However, they leverage DoorDash occasionally, and each time they have been exposed to that option, we get cold food, and sometimes the wrong order. There is no way to know when you order who is going to deliver it - Hut or DoorDash They (Hut) always make it right, or try to, but the only solution is to sever ties with DoorDash, which in my experience, is just terrible in the Waukee area. DoorDash doesn't attempt to keep the food warm and make long stops while traveling. I understand if they have to drop another order, but I shouldn't have to eat cold food because of their failures. I'm likely done taking chances with delivery from this location

Ordered online at 6:45 pm. The app said 15-25 minutes estimated. When I was finished paying after submitting my order, it said my pizza would not be delivered till 8:10! Terrible bait and switch.

New Years Eve and this Pizza Hut was swamped, as is to be expected. The food took a little longer to receive, but the workers were polite and apologetic. They were working as fast as their bodies would let them. The phone did ring a couple times, but people don't understand that the staffing is limited, and the phone is the last thing on their mind when they have multiple people showing up to pick up food.

So, my first visit here was for a meat lovers that had a bone in the pizza that hurt my tooth. I reported it but nothing was done. Now, not as serious, but continuing with issues, I paid for 3 extra sauces and got none. This location is understaffed and have poor, unchecked service. Oh, and not once has the store picked up the phone, so it goes to corporate who says you need to contact store directly, so you can't even get an order fixed or refunded without going back up there
Order said out for delivery for 1 hour. Tried to call the store and you can’t actually get ahold of the store, only the call center who can’t help with anything. Was hung up on by the call center. Finally was offered to reorder the food. Can’t really comment on the food quality because we never got our order even after reordering with customer service. Will probably be offered a free pizza for this review but I will probably never get that one either.

I had the most unprofessional and incompetent experience at your Waukee Iowa 276 W Hickman Rd 50263To begin, my order was delayed by 25 minutes from the pick up time listed on the tv tracker and my Pizza Hut app tracker.Thank God I ordered on the pizza but app because I come to find out the lousy worker says “our register is down” to another customer and had to reject them since they could not pay in cash.Second of all, the pizza I ordered was COMPLETELY INCORRECT.Third of All, my pizza was ice cold when I received it. I do not know what the incompetent staff are doing there.I do not know who is running this business, but clearly by the reviews online, something must CHANGE.
