Outsourcing your delivery services to DoorDash was a horrific business idea. Kept getting unassigned drivers for over an hour because nobody wanted to do a cash order. I did not know you people decided to be like everyone else and use DoorDash to deliver your product. That is the only reason I even ordered from you, because of the cash I had on hand. Had to cancel my order and your employee did not care to try to accommodate nor apologize for the severe inconvenience. Will never be ordering from you again.

Got violently ill after eating a slice of chicken pizza from here. The order was wrong anyway, but after I'd eaten a slice and noticed it tasted not entirely okay I more closely inspected the rest of the pizza and the chicken was slimy and possibly rancid. I threw the rest out but weeks later I'm still dealing with whatever was wrong with that slice. I'm honestly lucky I wasn't killed.

This is just a pickup and delivery site. I ordered My Hut Box deal which was an entree with a side and chose the two topping personal pan with boneless chicken wings for $6.99. it was a super deal! It was hot and fresh and ready when I arrived a couple minutes early. They have a closed warming station that kept it piping hot.

Heard they had a buffet and HAD to make the trip. We walked in and I laughed at the setup. Not your “standard” PH buffet. But they had all the Feeexins! We were the only ones there when we walked in, and they still rotated fresh pizzas and sides, with multiple selections. Self-serve fountains so you don’t have to flag down a server. Drove there from Johnston, and will do it again!

I saw all the negative reviews after I ordered my delivery and I’m glad I didn’t see it before, otherwise I might not have ordered. The delivery was on time and the food was piping hot and excellent. I’m seriously impressed, great work!

One star because ordering was ok, the food tastes just fine but our order was messed up. When I tried to call the store at 10:03 pm, phone number didn't work. I contacted our delivery driver because he hadn't been able to find us (that is totally understandable) and asked to speak to his boss because store phone wasn't working. The manager decided to argue with him, I guess, instead of calling me back like I requested. How else am I suppose to contact them to say- hey, mistakes happened- can it be fixed if not now, perhaps later. But still no call back from them and I'm going to harass the delivery driver because this isn't on him. I am beyond frustrated because I love pizza hut but this is ridiculous! It may be a new location but when a customer can't reach them, why not reach out, like was requested, and try to resolve the issue? Not how to do business at all. Very disappointing experience.

I arrived on time, only to end up waiting 20 minutes—finally getting my food at 5:22 PM. There was only one employee working, struggling to keep up with orders, which isn’t fair to them or the customers. The lack of staffing and poor order management made this a frustrating visit. Definitely not the level of service I expect.

Not only do they charge a ridiculous delivery fee that doesn’t go to their employees but use DoorDash to have it delivered. Should be illegal. Hopefully the DoorDash person actually ends up with the tip but I have my doubts. Email confirmation said 5:30 delivery it’s 6:15 still no pizza. Won’t order again.

I cannot recommend this store for delivery. They make the typical Pizza Hut product. However, they leverage DoorDash occasionally, and each time they have been exposed to that option, we get cold food, and sometimes the wrong order. There is no way to know when you order who is going to deliver it - Hut or DoorDash They (Hut) always make it right, or try to, but the only solution is to sever ties with DoorDash, which in my experience, is just terrible in the Waukee area. DoorDash doesn't attempt to keep the food warm and make long stops while traveling. I understand if they have to drop another order, but I shouldn't have to eat cold food because of their failures. I'm likely done taking chances with delivery from this location
