Waukee is adding more top notch tasty drive ups off S.E Alice Road. Slim Chicken is two months old and has an assortment of offerings from wings, tenders and sides that are simply delicious. I ordered 6 fat free wings tossed in lemon pepper using soybean oil. The wait is longer than most due to the entree being made to order with the freshest ingredients. Seemed kind of pricey for what it is. $13 for the club chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich definitely isn't big and it's about a small McDs size of fries. I got it shaken in the hot, which is anything but hot. Also tried the classic sandwich shaken with the mango habenero. Meh. Both sandwiches were pretty greasy/saucy. Not in a hurry to go back.
