great coffee shop! coffee is great and ambient too. it is a little loud if you are trying to telework and need to jump on a call, but nothing major I suppose it’s the big ceilings! either way, i love this coffee shop for a slower day at work or just to hangout. Their milk alternatives are great and espresso isn’t too bold. totally recommend

The quintessential coffee shop experience! It was a great location to meet in West Des Moines. I had a Chai Latte and it was delicious. Spacious, lots of seating, and if I lived in the area I’d definitely spend time working from this spot.

Needed to grab something quick but good after getting our car serviced nearby before heading back into to work. Had seen that The Coffeesmith had great reviews so we decided to try it. Warm space, lots of seating, and it smelled so good! It seemed the owner or manager was training someone while he took our order and he was so kind and friendly! He gave us great recommendations for coffee drinks from their seasonal menu. We also tried one of their egg croissants and it was warm, tasty, and their special sauce on it needs to be trademarked. It was so so good! We'll definitely be back!

First time at The CoffeeSmith and such a great experience! I had the honey lavender white mocha which was perfectly sweetened and so smooth! The chicken bacon ranch panini was also really good and freshly made. Highly recommend!

Our coffee looks like sweet T . Coffee is super watered down. My bf got the cold brew and I got the vanilla cream. As soon as I saw the color of the coffee I knew it wasn't going to taste good. If you're a coffee drinker you know what I mean. Place was clean and cozy. This was my first time trying this place , won't be back. Highly disappointed . It's frustrating getting watered down coffee.

A friend told me about this place and i decided to try it out . It was very clean & cozy inside. Service was great and very fast for only one person at the counter. I was not impressed by the coffee though. I could tell by the color that it was going to be watered down . I ordered the vanilla cream. My bf got a cold brew . Our coffee tastes very watered down . You can tell by the photo. Does not taste like there coffee in here at all. This was right after our first sips in the car.

The Coffeesmith is an amazing local coffee shop. Their Ron Swanson and Sausage/egg/cheese croissant are THE BEST! The coffee is always really good as well. I generally get the Caramel Mocha, and it's always delicious and consistent. The staff are always friendly, and quick to get your order out.Starbucks, Scooters, and other soulless corporate coffee shops can't hold a candle to The Coffeesmith! Support Small Business, buy local!Keep up the good work!Parking: Parking can be somewhat limited at times as they can be VERY busy, but not all the time. Regardless, it's worth walking a few more spots for the deliciousness.
