We were out on a sunset drive and came across this place. What a cute shoppe! Very clean, nicely decorated in cheer, and plenty of seating! It was right before closing and they were packed! It's no mystery why! Their hard-packed ice cream was delicious!!! I got a mini-scoop of the Banana Pudding. Cool shop featuring Kemp's ice cream. Great selection of flavors (maybe 16-20 if memory serves) and a nice atmosphere. The kids behind the counter were professional and kind. Prices were reasonable as well considering the quality of the product. Would definitely go back
fun and locally owned shop that is tucked away inside old Waukee instead of out on Hickman. The store is exceptionally clean and there is a friendly owner and staff but maybe there needs to be more training...we ordered a caramel pecan sundae and the employee filled the cup with too much ice cream so there was no room for the toppings and we watched as they struggled to put just a touch of store bought caramel and a few nuts on top...I wish that he would have used a bigger cup...
