I am getting frustrated with myself for forgetting to take a pic of my plate!
The restaurant was Lid's Bar & Grill in Waukon, IA. The meal was the iconic Midwestern sandwich, the pork tenderloin. The service was outstanding, my party of three were there at noon, yet the super efficient server, Kim, was attentive and chatty! They have won awards for their tenderloin for good reason, I have had few better. All three of us, who are by nature chatty and convivial, fell silent as we devoured our delicious sandwiches. If you are in the are go. If you love the pork tenderloin go. If you aren't in the area take a road trip and go. You may have had a tenderloin in this class...
