Best service. Food was amazing. Wait time was very short. Maxine made my gummy fruit drink and it was bomb. Melissa was our waitress and did an excellent job. She was very attentive and very sweet. We come here alot and have never had a bad experience. My fiance got the the om cheeseburger and said it was the best burger hes ever had. I got the cajun salmon which was equally as good. Will definitely be back in the future as we live in the area. Thanks for the awesome service ladies. You both need recognition AND raises :-) ❤️

Thank you for accommodating my entire wrestling team, managers, coaches and some parents on such short notice after our state qualifying tournament. The food and service was great especially for such a large group and after 10 pm. Would definitely recommend the Waverly-Shell Rock Applebee's.

The past year or so, we’ve tried to keep giving this branch a chance but it slowly gets worse and worse and worse.
Tonight (and our final time ever going here again) the food was terrible. Got the 2 for $25. Spinach Artichoke dip came with barely any dip. Probably filled 1/4 of the serving cup it comes in. Husband ordered a sirloin medium rare and it came super well done. I got the chicken broccoli Alfredo and my noodles were still frozen. Server took it back and they clearly beamed it in the microwave from frozen to just cold. My son got a kids meal and they forgot his drink. In a restaurant full of servers, there was only one server really moving around. The others hung out by the kitchen. That server came to check on us and she wasn’t even our server.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Got told it was a 10 minute wait, waited 25 minutes. Got seated at a booth with a table that felt like it was covered in maple syrup, had used napkins on the seat and footprints on the seat. When our server (Delanie) greeted us we asked to be moved and were told we couldn’t move seats and she rolled her eyes when we asked for the table to be wiped. The host was kind enough to do it for us. We ordered water with lemon, the lemons still had stickers on them. I ordered a quesadilla burger and wanted no pink on the patty and my mom ordered a chicken tender basket. My burger came out pink anyway and my mom had RAW tenders. When she finally decided to come check on us we told her the issues and she grabbed our plates and said she’d have the kitchen fry the tenders longer and put my patty on the grill again. When she took it to the back we could hear the kitchen staff talking really loudly. We looked over and they were laughing and pointing at us. We were obviously fully fed up at the point and we asked for a manager but even that wasn’t very helpful. No apologies, no refund. Nothing. Will not be returning. Save yourself the headache and eat somewhere else.

Went to Applebee's for dinner tonight. Worst experience ever! Place was not very busy but no one at hostess station and took a couple minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Were given menus and told server would be with us shortly. 20 minutes later still no server. Made eye contact with several people with no acknowledgement, and watched a couple employees on their cell phones. Walked out and went somewhere else!

We had a 20-30 minute wait. Our waitress was very friendly and brought out hot food. She checked on us a couple times to see if we needed anything else. Another couple behind us also mentioned that our waitress was excellent.

Our server was absolutely the best very upfront about the wait it wasn't that bad but we appreciated the heads up she was very funny and was a pleasure to talk to and be served by we left a generous tip because of how awesome she was, we obviously love the food and will definitely make it a point to go back often ❤️
