“My wife and I really enjoy visiting Bremer Brewery. They have a great variety of beers so you are sure to find something you like no matter your beer preference. They also have other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. The food is great and they switch it up from time to time with menu specials. If you want more than beer and food they host fun events like trivia night or live music each month. We have never been disappointed.”

“If you find yourself passing through Waverly, Iowa, and you think you need to wet your whistle, then you should definitely stop by The Pour House! From the pink Cadillac on the wall to the small town neighborhood bar feel, this place hits just right. The barkeeps are attentive and polite, and the people there are exactly what you might expect. Nice job, will be back!”

“I’ve never had a bad experience when at the Beach House. I have definitely seen bar patrons get feisty with the bartenders and they act appropriately. This is one of my favorite bars in town!!”

“Literally the best Chinese food I have found in Iowa! My wife and I travel to small communities all over Iowa and Nebraska for work. We have been to many different restaurants, and I can say without a doubt this is the best Chinese food we have had anywhere in Iowa or Nebraska. Fried rice was perfect, I ordered the Angry Beef, and it was beyond amazing. I only wish we did not live on the opposite side of the state. I would seriously consider driving the 5.5 hours just to come back here again.”

“I've ordered here about once a year for the last 8ish years. I've never been overly impressed but the delivery is fast and convenient. I just got it today and it's by far the best I've ever had from here or any other place in a while. Delivery was quick as always. All of our food was hot and fresh. Beef lo mein was packed with meat and veg, fried rice was spot on. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy and good. If you've had a bad experience here in the past give them another chance! Idk what changed but this will be in my regular rotation going forward!”

“I'm a long time customer and love Scooter's coffee. Today I bought my usual mocha, but it came to me tasting of coffee and water. No milk. I went to the window and was met by an employee who was rude, rude, rude. She argued with me that if they made another, it would taste the same. Then she slammed the window in my face. To add insult to injury, I called 2 hr later and asked to talk with a manager...I told her my story and she didn't even offer my money back. If I were the owner of this franchise, I would be embarrassed.”

“Our server was great, but our cook was excellent. His name is Zach and he did a fantastic job. Cooked my pizza to perfection, and had a great attitude. Gave him a great tip. Would recommend coming here for food!!”

“We came from out of state to watch my friend graduate, and ate here afterwards. When we arrived we were seated immediately, and provided assistance immediately as well. We encountered two very small issues with our food that were handled calmy, kindly, and efficiently by staff, who even went as far to take a picture of our table to help us remember this trip forever. Im grateful for the experience we got to have on our last day here.”
