Great atmosphere! The left side is set up more like a bar and the right side is more family friendly dining. The waitress was pleasant but didn't overdo it with checking on us.

We used to love this place but after going a week ago we probably won’t be back. Apparently ownership has changed and it shows. There were about 5 tables total and our table ordered 3 French onion soups with salad, a tenderloin and BLT, waited 40 min for food which is unreal for what we ordered and it not being busy at all. The soup had no flavor and the onions were still crunchy and not cooked down like it should be, the tenderloin was very dark and dry and hard to chew then the BLT came in a chibatta bun which is fine but for 10 bucks we were shocked when it came out with 3 thin pieces of bacon in it. Very disappointed in how the food and quality has become when this place used to be soooo good.

My wife , son and I stopped there for lunch yesterday. My wife's Ruben was cold and had no flavor. They used smoked roast beef in my hot roast beef and potatoes , and all I could taste was the smoky flavor of the beef.Very disappointing. The waitress was great, on a positive note.

Staff was great. Food was good. I was sent there to try out the macaroni and cheese. It's actually cheese, three cheese and pasta and it was really good. I had a burger with BMC and I was really good. Prices were good. Would highly recommend this. I don't know if it necessarily go to quite a four, but I'm going to lean towards four stars since there's no 3.7. nobody gets a five because that meets you perfect so there's always room for improvement. Thank you very much.

It was ok, nothing outstanding. Salad was store bought shredded. Ordered the 12 ounce wagyu steak medium, came out well done with no flavor.

The food was super except the french fries tasted old and they were very salty. The server did a great job. Will return.

Very good experience at the East Bremer Diner! We sat at the bar and we were able to order our drinks and food right away! Bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to. Would recommend to anyone!!

We arrived at 2pm there was a sign on the door that said there heater was out and it was cool inside nothing else. We were seated by the host and the server took our order shortly after she brought our food she said that the diner closed 7 minutes ago but we were not told and the posted time on the door was 9pm. We were rushed out the door, the food was cold, the salad was just shredded lettuce like you put on a taco and the Reuben was barely toasted this place had been recommended but I won't be going back we would have gone somewhere else had they bothered to tell us they were closing.

Poor slow service prime rib was tough and no flavor. I had to ask for the juice that always comes with prime rib. My meal sat in front of me waiting for the juice and ranch for my fries it was cold by the time I got them. Very disappointing

Great restaurant! Food was amazing and the price was very economical! The only downside was the wait. But sometimes you have to wait for good food!

Good service. But disappointed in food. And do not like group salad. Should have individual salads at this time.

Went on a Friday night before a volleyball game. It was busy with a 30 minute wait so we opted to eat at the bar. The floor was sticky in many areas of the building like it didn’t get cleaned from the night before. Kind of gross. I would think if in one area it may have just happened but we walked around and it was in several areas. As in previous reviews the “salad” is not a salad. It is shredded lettuce and that’s it. The only thing that helped is that the dressing was homemade otherwise who wants to eat such a plain salad? We had a chicken bacon ranch pizza which was okay. There were large chunks of onion on it that were not necessary. Onion, I like, but the pieces for this type of pizza shouldn’t be bigger than the chicken. The wait staff were younger and continued to gather to complain about customers. One big positive is the large selection of beers on tap. So I would recommend if just going for a beer. Also the wait staff were friendly enough to your face but liked to whisper when around each other.

We stopped in this afternoon for lunch. We arrived very near the afternoon closing time. The staff was extremely accommodating polite and friendly. We never felt hurried to finish lunch before they closed up. In fact we were encouraged to take our time by an employee who explained that he would be there throughout the afternoon anyway. We had a fantastic lunch and dining experience. Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back. Worth the drive from New Hampton!

Absolutely incredible! We were there in a group of 7 people and the service was amazing to begin with. But the group I was in can be rather demanding but the waiter handled it wonderfully. He had suggestions of what to try and really provided amazing service. Then there is the food. Wow! That is the only word that could come to mind when I took my first bite of my burger! I had The Angry Knight and wow! Just Wow!They have locally sourced waygu beef which is mind blowing, and the bun was so soft and just fit the patty perfectly. If you want a great meal and are in Waverly, IA or just passing through you must try this diner!Great location right across the street from Cobblestone Inn.

This place was excellent!! I had the best prime rib I've ever had in my life!! It was delicious!! It was so tender, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right!! The price was unbelievable!! This piece of of meat was so big until I could eat it all. I swear it was 9x5 inch if I had measured it. Best ever!!
