I gave it several tries but this is just horrible. I tried to be fair the first time and figured they had an off day. NOPE. Second attempt I got this chicken quesadilla to go, if you can call it that. Placed my order at 11:10, assured a 15 mins wait time and didn't get it until 11:50 and that's what I got served to me. Just tried a third time and somehow the rice was both dried out and crunchy. I had to mix it with runny beans and my hard shell taco came out soggy from the grease in the meat and wet lettuce. Save your money, Taco Bell and Taco John's are more authentic than this place.

My family has been to this restaurant a handful or more times, and we have never been disappointed. The chips and salsa are a hit, and the kids' menu has a variety that our toddler can choose from that will keep him happy every time. I like to try different dishes whenever I can, but the shredded beef chimechangas and/or the taco salad are my favorite choices. My husband has not been disappointed with the steak fajitas and/or enchiladas. Our toddler is autistic and sometimes has a hard time in restaurants, so this place accommodates that pretty well, as they have plenty of seating that allows for us to be away from the larger grouped, more crowded areas. When we can not decide what we want to eat when we are out and don't plan on going home to cook, this is our usual default.

So good! Our whole family loves El Sol and this is our main place for all of our special occasions :)

great staff and service. family friendly. Real people here. Especially Jorge. He and his family run the best restaurant and (bar?) in the cedar valley. For a real experiece, ask jorge about his night club. Real hispanic flavor and service. Come for a siesta, leave with a bigger tummy.
