I have been here several times and for the most part had good food and service. I went there last night and I was disappointed. I thought the bartender Oliva was rude. She did seem to be very tentative to the male customers.

Very nice restaurant located inside of Prairie Links Golf Course. Just stopped in for a drink, but we'll be back to try something off the menu.

Spotted this place by chance on the map while crossing through town and looking for a place to eat. Food was very good and severing sizes were generous. Staff was very friendly and definitely wanted us to have a nice experience. It's pretty clearly got the atmosphere of a country club so expect to see some drunk golfers. A hidden gem though and I would gladly go back again.

Appetizers were delicious. Main course was crazy good and more then expected. Highly recommend, won't disappoint. The drinks were good to. A hidden gem for food.

I came at a bad time because my spouse and child were hungry and we love trying new places. I'm currently unable to eat gluten, fructose, lactose/dairy, onions, garlic, ketchup, etc. well, I though we were walking into a steakhouse so I was going to simply ask for a steak. I was mislead and it looks like this place is no longer a steakhouse. The entry is very vague as well, you walk into a bar with several seating tables around and get handed a grill menu (duh because it is now only a bar and grill). i figured I could order a burger and take the bun off and ask for no ketchup and onion. Well, the patty itself is seasoned with more than just salt and pepper </3. the Jalapeno's I ordered on them aren't pickled or fresh, they're battered and fried (darn that gluten sneaking into my food again!), I ate my spouse's fries and drank my water. My spouse and child said their food was delicious which is why the 4 stars but I could not really give a review on the food as I could not have it. My review is more based on my individual experience and most of it was not exactly due to staff. The staff was great, kind, attentive, and efficient.

I had been a member there along with my wife and family shortly after it opened as Centennial Oaks. I thought the developer at that time was a gentleman and made you feel you were important to the club. The more years I was there the more I felt there were many days I would go in with my wife or family and I felt like I was breaking up a private party at the bar. Mostly the same six or seven guys and I was often uncomfortable. The course is amazing. Waverly is lucky to have two quality golf courses in their city!!! Negative- Seems never had a chef or cook who would last more than 6-18 months and food service was often hit and miss. Sometimes quick and complete sometimes slow and poor display of food etc Finally- I’m no longer a member. The new owner took over and promised us SO much with none of it coming true. He lied to us about having a pool installed (which 20 years ago was estimated to b built within the first five years) the summer he took over. Never happened. Then just a year ago he lied again saying the pool would be ready last June!!!! I don’t trust him and I’ve heard many say the same thing!

claims to offer Iowa PGA card discount week days. Made tee time. when i showed up, "That offer ends @11a.m." Bait and switch! Waverly has a better offering if you want to golf in town!
