The food is fantastic! But, the restaurant was very warm and humid. The service was very poor. He took our order, brought our drinks out, but that was it. It took 45 minutes to get our order. Then never got refills on drinks. Watched while other customers asked for refills on their coffee. Had to ask for boxes and our check! It took 2 hrs! A lot of sitting around waiting for service.

The food was ok, the service was terrible, we only saw our waitress when she took out orders and when she delivered our food; never got asked if we needed refills, dirty dishes were still there when we left, and we even had to ask for our check so that we could leave. Really wanted to love a small town, family style restaurant, but just couldn't. We were there 4:30pm to 6pm

Good food, good service. Would stop again. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. One suggestion. Partner with your local locker to get fresh hand pattied burgers. I've worked in restaurant service and your customers will appreciate the extra touch and the genuine taste. Plus its a win win for both small buisinesses.

Typical family restaurant in a small town. Check the hours and days before you visit. They aren't open as much as others but that is due to slow times and they are closed when the day or hours of the day are slowest to save wages. We only order to go. I didn't give stars for service or atmosphere as it is not something we really deal with as "to-go" patrons.
My typical order is the bacon chicken ranch wrap with fries and corn nuggets. The fries have a coating and are the best. The corn nuggets are a splurge and are super tasty too. On occasion we order pizza. Pictured below is the ham and pineapple and veggie pizza. Personally I would like a little more color on my cheese but it's not a huge deal. The crust is fantastic and really hard not to eat the whole pizza in one sitting! My daughter also enjoys their reuben. We have not tried much else as we do not eat out a lot.
Kid-friendliness: It's a family diner. Kids are welcome.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel and there is a sidewalk in front of the restaurant with a lip to get onto the sidewalk.. Personally I wouldn't come here with my wheelchair family member but that is a personal preference.

A great find for us. We were on our way back from an out of state wedding heading towards Des Moines area and looked for a nice local restaurant. Found this place online and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and the food was great. Would love to come back if we're back in the area

I ordered a small veggie pizza. I'm a transplanted Chicago girl. The only thing I could say to improve would be to put it under broiler so cheese can brown. The crust was excellent, had a fair amount of veggies. I would have liked pepperoni but didn't want to pay anymore. It was a little expensive. Very good .

You can't just get a good breakfast steak anywhere anymore. It was fantastic! 12 oz. Delicious. We were happy with everything we got. Their extensive drink menu is exceptional as well.This was our first time here. We plan to come back regularly.I have pictures of our wonderful meal but I can't find how to post them. They are worth seeing. ?
