Saw this restaurant prior to taking my son to a movie today. Thought it would be great to try and bring home for dinner. I ordered a broccoli beef entree, chicken lo mein and a chicken teriyaki (no veggies). The food (even after an hour long drive home) was absolutely delicious! The flavor was amazing! When I crave Chinese food, this is the flavor I’m wanting! Service was great and I truly look forward to going back! We have been looking for good Chinese food since moving to IA from AZ 3 years ago.
The chicken was over cooked and was hard to chew. It was like eating rubber. The portions are ridiculously small now. They asked if I wanted an egg roll. I said yes. It was a spring roll. Not an egg roll. There’s a difference!

Tables out front were dirty, food was bland and had little to no flavor. Food was also overpriced for what we received.

Vegetarian options: We had veggie stir-fry. Tasty sauce, good assortment of veggies. Surprisingly good for mall food.

The food here is great I enjoy it more than any other Chinese in town, however, the portion size is small and served on foam plates and cups, if you want a good dining experience for the $$ I would choose a different option because you will be eating on a paper plate in the mall. But all that aside it is a good place to get a quick bite while shopping or takeout for lunch but for these prices you would be better of going somewhere you can sit and dine.

Asked for lomane and got noodles drowning in soy sauce, no veggies. Asked for sesame chicken and instead got what looked to be hours old chicken that tasted like it was left soaking in soy sauce. Very disappointed??

This place is pretty horrible I feel bad for the people around town that said this is the best one nearby. House fried rice was gross. Ordered pork egg roll and got spring roll. Paid 6 bucks for crab Rangoon and received one. What a scam.

Absolutely the best and only place I go to for Chinese. I've been going since I was 10 years old (I'm 26 now) and I don't plan on stopping. Service is great, food is wonderful, and their owners take real pride in the food. Always a 11/10 meal when I go there.
I ordered cashew chicken. Had no cashews in it. The chicken tastes like it was cooked by boiling, then thrown in with the rest of the veggies and sauce. Gross.
Terrible, salty, tasted burnt almost and I’ve never had bad Chinese until here

They are my absolute favorite for Chinese food around SE Iowa. Great people, fast service, & yummy food.
I've been out of the state for a few months now but China house is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Their food and service is wonderful and I can't wait to visit to have their food again.
ABSOLUTELY the best food I've had.Love the customer service and friendly atmosphere. Hands down, THE BEST
Food taste great but the portions do not justify the costs.
