“Alex and Kennedy were so kind, they didn’t have all of the ingredients to make my honey mint citrus tea so they made me a replacement drink and a small size of a similar tea with what they had on hand because “we know how much better the tea makes you feel if you’re not feeling good”. “We visited for the 1st time today for Easter buffet. It was all delicious and reasonably priced as well. Staff went above and beyond.. we have a granddaughter who is allergic to dairy. When I asked if chix strips and scrambled eggs had dairy they did but staff offered to have eggs made without! We also have an autistic grandson who only eats certain foods. He loves chicken strips but staff heard him saying "french fries" and offered to make him some. How kind! We will be back!!!”

I give them 5 stars overall, because we enjoy the experience. The food is good, and prices are comparable to other area restaurants. The staff do an admirable job of order taking, cooking, serving and clean up, and are usually very personable.”

“Saw this restaurant prior to taking my son to a movie today. Thought it would be great to try and bring home for dinner. I ordered a broccoli beef entree, chicken lo mein and a chicken teriyaki (no veggies). The food (even after an hour long drive home) was absolutely delicious! The flavor was amazing! When I crave Chinese food, this is the flavor I’m wanting! Service was great and I truly look forward to going back! We have been looking for good Chinese food since moving to IA from AZ 3 years ago.”

“The food is good, but the whole dining room is open with no walls so the sound has nowhere else to go. Directly behind where I was sitting is the server staging area where they get drinks and were apparently rolling 1000 sets of silverware. Its only a half wall so we can't hardly get out of the way of the sound. I'll probably order food to go next time because it was really tasty, but if you're coming in for a hangover brunch, you're gonna have a bad time.”

“If you want a very good home cooked country breakfast then look no further than The Hungry Bear in Burlington, Iowa. The food here is absolutely delicious and made with genuine homemade ingredients. The flavor and seasoning in and on the food is absolutely amazing 👏. Oh and don't get me started on the portions of the food. They give you so much you will be taking leftovers home I can tell you that unless you're really hungry than you can probably handle the huge portions.
It's a nice little place tucked away in the downtown part of Burlington. The staff and waitress is very friendly and always checking in on you for a refill on your beverage and to make sure the food is good. Better get there early on the weekends because it does get busy but for good reasoning that food is something everyone wants. So go check it out you will enjoy each bite you take for sure.”

“Was here this week and I pop in a couple times a month to meet outside of the office. We had our Christmas lunch at the Bean this last week. I love the variety of healthy food and the creative plates they serve. I have had many of their wraps, avocado toast, bowls, salads, veges and hummus, everything is delish! Serving sizes are nice and the sides are very healthy, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in their menu! Now we cannot forget about their bakery items so good the oatmeal pie is a must if you haven't ever been there along with the banana cake and pumpkin bars. You won't be mad about any of the selection all will hit the spot!”
