JB’s Sports Bar and Grill

We were the first people to walk in at 11. We were a party of 7. By the time we were served, it was after 12, and every other table of people had already been served and were leaving. The two people at our table that ordered hot beef sandwiches couldn’t even eat it. It was cold and you couldn’t even see any gravy. When they asked for more gravy, they brought a tiny bowl and the ‘gravy’, was more like au jus, it was so watery. Four people had ordered coleslaw as a side. One person never got theirs, and the others were beginning to spoil anyway. They couldn’t eat it. All this was made known to the server. She said she’d see what she could do. Nothing was done about it. All were charged full price. These are not people who normally complain. I’ve never known my husband to leave his plate nearly untouched. He was glad he’d only ordered 1/2 order of hot beef sandwich. He barely touched it. On the ‘upside’. My tenderloin and sweet potato fries were very good and very hot. But it hardly made up for the other 6 meals that were not too good. We wouldn’t recommend it, and we won’t be going back.

Called in order for 2 taco’s just meat and cheese , for $5 each they were by far the most pathetic taco’s ever. Maybe , maybe 1/4 cup of meat and even less cheese. Could have done better with $5 at Taco Bell for certain.

Uncle Ronnie's stingers was my favorite food in Burlington. I've been there twice since to have some they were HORRIBLE ! Today my stingers had a yellowish/orange sauce only ate a couple they were also under cooked. New owners please get Uncle Ronnie's stingers sauce recipe PLEASE !!

Staff very kind and helpful. Example of food ordered batch of mushrooms 8 small in the order for $5. Food was good just economy makes it hard on small restaurants

Saved the night on a last minute reservation for homecoming. I called and they were super friendly and quickly set up for the group. Everything went so smoothly, the kids loved the food and environment! Waitress was the best. thank you!!!!

Was there about a month ago, food was good service was terrible. Last week food was good service was only slightly better

I was here with a group of 6 people. There was another group of 12 and 4 or 5 regular tables with patrons.
Atmosphere/ambience was quiet and clean. Waitress took our order with no problem. She brought our drinks out all at once...using her body, instead of a tray. We had to ask for silverware and napkins after the food was delivered. Waitress NEVER checked any of the tables for additional needs and the bartender brought us our bill.
The food was GREAT. I will try this place again in the future.

First time back at this new establishment. They've changed the seating around (no booths) and opened it up. It was very busy when we arrived, almost all the tables were taken. The dart boards against the far wall were also being used, which gave the place a bustling atmosphere. The menu and pricing have remained basically the same as it was before. I had a patty melt, which seemed to a little different than it used to be (not greasy or with as many onions on it). The service was ok, considering how busy it was. I would go back again, and probably try something different (pizza, maybe?). Check it out if you haven't been here before.

Kid-friendliness: It's much more a restaurant than a bar, and the menu offers items such as chicken bites and mac & cheese for them to consider.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking available, and there are no stairs to deal with.

Parking: The Food is not like it was when Uncle Ronnie's had it, we were NOT Happy..my husdand spent around $200+ n we probably won't go back.
The Only thing we liked was the Califlower, the Tacos were ok.. kinda plain. The taco sauce that came with it was watered down n weak, the Ranch dip was pretty weak as well with my Califlower.
I ordered my Favorite sandwich I always got when Uncle Ronnie's had it, Grouper Rueban..I was Disappointed!! ?
It was very Salty, thin, Over cooked and the Toasted Bread was Burnt!!
I'm sorry, but the Food is not like it used to be n the Prices are about the same..?
I miss Ronnie's Food!!!! ?

1st time since new owners and I was not disappointed. Seems the serving size has gotten better which is nice. Food was great. Had a new server named John, and he as much made the visit great as did the food. I’ve seen where folks were worried about a price increase but the only thing I noticed go up was the serving size.

Parking: Plenty of places to park as well as overflow parking.
