The egg roll is giant (not my favorite). I saw some reviews saying the portions aren’t big. I got the jr. bowl, and I could not begin to eat it all. It’s a lot of food. I got noodles instead of rice. I ate inside, and it was very clean with nice, current music playing and a tv. There are a couple of tables outside.“

The patio is a great setting and one of few restaurants in DSM that can offer this setting My only suggestion is to make sure the patio is regularly hosed down and absent of bird droppings. Great restaurant and would like to see more customers to keep this restauant strong“

“My partner and I have gotten sushi from Banana Leaf several times now, and it never disappoints! We usually start with the pork pot stickers and get some sushi rolls to share, and they have all been fresh and delicious.“

“The food is amazing takes like a 1min to cook it. and the atmosphere is pretty good they have tvs that will play football if it’s on at the bar. The workers are nice and friendly from my experience and when I went the worker was watching the game and her team lost. It was very funny. Overall the whole building is nice and inexpensive. “Huge shout out to Wasabi Johnston! My daughter wanted to go there for sushi for her bday dinner last night. I called ahead and asked if we could bring in a cake, etc... they were MORE than accommodating. They said whatever we needed! They kept it a secret until we finished our dinner. Brought out the cake, lit the candles, provided extra plates, a knife to cut it and were SO kind. Thank you guys all SO much! My daughter was thrilled (and embarrassed). Excellent dinner too!“
