“Wow, what a great restaurant! We recently moved here and this is one of our top go to places. The food is fantastic, and served in ample portions. Highly recommend the brisket platter. Also, do not sleep on the happy hour from 3 to 6pm. May be the best deal in Iowa, half price drinks and several reasonably priced appetizers!“

“We had a work dinner with a group of 8 late on a Sunday night. Andrew was our server and he was AMAZING. So fun, totally cool with our crazy ordering of everything on the menu late on a Sunday night. We LOVED him. He fit right in with the fun we were there to have. The food was MIND BLOWINGLY GREAT too. I've never had pork this good. So many fun menu options. We had a blast and Andrew was definitely a big reason. We HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for delish pork or BBQ in the area.“

“Quite possibly the best bbq on the planet!! They had lots of gluten free choices.. all meat and sauces are gluten free. Although they served the food with 4 huge slices of bread which seems unnecessary and is totally cross contamination. The brisket was melt in your mouth amazing! The garlic Parmesan potatoes were very delicious!“

“I worked with Cara to plan a surprise birthday party and i have to say it couldn't have gone any smoother than it did. Cara was informed on my options, flexible and extremely responsive to all of my emails. The day of the party the area we were going to be in was prepped and ready to go. The waitress Brandi absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was attentive, organized and on top of everything as well as extremely kind all night. All of the food came out hot and delicious. We so appreciate all of the hard work and assistance.“

“Good service; good food; decent portions; reasonable price. We're repeat customers for any of the Jethro's locations. Sometimes whatever is on the speakers can be a little too high volume for me. Bottoming food is great and I sometimes order extra wings or bacon to take home.“

My whole family loved this place - their wings were excellent (hot buffalo), my kids got a sandwich and sweet potato fries- both of which were very good!

“New to the East side, and still are working on getting correct orders because of that, but we were glad there were a couple of order mistakes because we got to try things we might not have otherwise! The brisket sandwiches are amazing as is the smoked Turkey! Piled high with just the right amount of smoke and the sauce was perfect! I’m glad I got the smoked Turkey as it was tender and juicy,. I am allergic to onions so I usually can’t eat potato salad at restaurants, but their has no onions and was wonderful! And the fried Okra was so good! It was getting busy, so the owners little girl brought us menus and we were got to talk to her… such a nice family and such a great addition to the East side! We will definitely be back“
