It’s ok to experience this place at least once. Certainly not worth 43.00 a plate - especially when they don’t constantly keep up with the salad bar. I had to ask them twice to replace empty sections, which is a big deal when there aren’t many options at the salad bar to begin with. The meats had a lot of gristle/fat and some meats tasted like livestock and others were very over cooked. Also depending on where you sit - they don’t always come around to you and you have to flag them down or find someone to bring you options. No need or desire to ever go back.

I am beyond disappointed at this visit. I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have never experienced this type of food and service. The salad bar was nearly empty. Looked like the food had been there since lunch. Nothing was fresh. Even the cheese biscuits were hard and cold. The pineapple was not chewable. Most of the meat was way undercooked or fatty. When I asked if I could speak to a manager I was told he was out of town. Well that explains it. I can certainly tell the difference when Jefferson is here. No way this is the standard. As I said I’ve been here NUMEROUS times and never ever experienced this. Each time the manger, Jefferson was here. I will be calling to speak with him when he returns. I will no longer visit this restaurant if Jefferson is not here which means I have to call before each visit. Very disappointed!!!

I admit, I'm spoiled by good restaurants. There are great brazilian restaurants in FL and other states.
The price is lower than many brazilian places but the choices reflect the $. The eats are basically pork, chicken, and only sirloin for the steak. Im used to filet, ribeye which are tender. Sirloin is tough. They did dress up the sirloin with different seasonings to try and make more palatable but seriously..sirloin is meh. Te salad and hot bar were lacking. I love salad and could not eat mine. Grocery store dressing? Disgusting. Not even sysco quality. No hearts of palm, no good cheese. Kraft cheddar cubes were it. The proteins were given in 2 bite pieces.
Unfortunately, this is so typical of Iowa restaurants. Cheaper
quality. Bad oils. Lots of fried food. I suggest the state try to upgrade restaurants closer to KC or Chicago quality as a whole.
Service itself was good. Staff nice

Adequate amount of free parking. Price was too low. Salad bar was too cheap. Meat cuts were too cheap. No filet. No ribeye. Just sirloin. No shrimp on salad bar. No soup or bisque on salad bar. Cheap salad dressing. If you never, ever have been to a different city this place is great - for Des Moines. Saturday night at 6:30. No wait. Close this. Rename it. Up the quality and charge $60.

I’ve been here twice to eat. The buffet itself is gross and not very many items on the buffet. The only reason why I come here is for the meat that they serve you at the table. It’s the only good thing about the restaurant they need to work on making the buffet better The mashed potatoes are really runny too runny for mashed potatoes. You need to get your act together if you want your business to survive!!!

Went there this Friday for a friends birthday. All I can say is I wish I would have taken time to read reviews on this place beforehand. To me it’s a couple tiers up from Pzza Ranch. The price was shocking to me and to be underwhelmed by the food and even the choices on the buffet. $111 for 2 people was wayyyyyy out of line with quality of food. . Even if I was upset at the price, if the food matched the price I would have just said well at least the food was amazing, but it wasn’t, it was just mediocre. 🤷🏽♀️ The servers were very polite. Literally the best thing they have going for them is the customer service. Just my opinion.

It's a buffet with typical buffet quality food. Some interesting and unusual options, like fried banana. Of course they also stop by the table with skewers of meat and cut you off a piece. Lots of meat options and unlimited quantity but they were all just okay, nothing special. Service was good. Like most buffets, this is a quantity over quality play and at $43 a pop you better be very hungry to get that much value.

No flavor, the meat was dry, not one piece of meat was tender or flavored, I’ve been to many Brazilian steakhouses and this one is not even close to being slightly good. I gave it a 2 only because the servers were nice and the waitress was nice.
Good churrascaria, the meat varied and cooked well. Very varied salads. Warm environment and very friendly staff.
