Been going to the Tavern for 30+ years. Tonite was worst experience. Ordered large and came to pick it up and it was a small/ feeding 5 people. They acted like it was my fault. The manager / a kid/ Said they were busy but they would have to void the original transaction and I would have to wait another 25 mins for my pizza. Went to eat here tonight and was complete thrown when he asked if a table was ok and we asked for a booth and was told the next table in rotation is a table and a booth isn’t available. We said what. The young male hostess said skipping to a booth in the rotation is against policy. The guy and gal behind the bar hollared over and said it is ok. The young guy said are you sure it’s ok. It’s against policy.

The Tavern’s pizza has been my favorite for years, however I hadn’t eaten there for several months. Today, I was served an impossibly thin crust pizza that could not support the sausage and onions topping. The sauce was undercooked and made the crust soggy. There was little seasoning and the sausage was bland. It was barely edible. I won’t even go into the stuffing coming out of the two-inch slit in the upholstery on the booth seat.
