Very cool new restaurant space within the upper and lower floor of a mixed residential commercial building. We were seated in the upper floor portion with a larger bar and seating area. The decor is very luxurious and contemporary. Service was A1, which is to be expected for the pricing. Steaks and sides were top notch, done to perfection. Great liquor selection for high end cocktails. Nothing about this place felt like a chain. The experience was unique to this location but keeping the expected quality of food and service.

Great ambience and low noise level considering the open room. Wonderful staff. Just wasn't impressed by the food. Shrimp was good but the 6 oz medium rare filet I had was medium plus. Honestly the filets we get at Costco that my wife grills taste far better than this did. The $14 garlic mashed potatoes pretty much had the consistency of instant and there really wasn't much garlic flavor at all. The bread however was great! All in all about a 3 star overall rating for me.

The service was impeccable. Each person from the host, to the server, to the valet treated us like welcome guests. Our food was generally very good and was prepared very well. I loved that the steaks served on hot plates. That attention to detail is welcome. I personally did not like the lobster bisque. While it had a nice amount of lobster, it was not creamy and tasted rather oily. Everything else was very good. The warm bread was delicious, and the cheesy potatoes au gratin were wonderful. The Cesar salad looked delicious, and my dining companion shared one of the delicious cheesy croutons that made me want more. The chocolate cake was decadently rich.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience! Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order and were full of flavor. All the food was excellent. Our waiter was fun and the service felt personal, not stuffy. All the wait staff did a great job. We really appreciated the manager stopping by our table to make sure we were receiving the service we needed. Top notch place! Will be back for sure!

We went to lunch at Ruth's Chris in WDM and it was excellent! Our filets were cooked perfectly, food was delicious, and service was outstanding. The prices are reasonable at lunch and I would highly recommend you try it. Be sure to take a tour of the restaurant......beautiful! Also want to add, we ate at Johnny's Steakhouse, in Altoona, last week and our filets were tough, and food was less than average. For about the same money.....go have lunch at Ruth's Chris!

I had dinner with four of my coworkers on Monday evening. Our server was Johnny Krohn. Wow! Talk about an amazing experience. Johnny was the most amazing server that we have ever had, ever! He was making suggestions for appetizers, drinks and even our main course. We literally got whatever he suggested and Johnny knocked it out of the park. The appetizers were amazing, the Old Fashion was to die for, and the main course was bone in fillet medium rare. This was the best meal and greatest dining experience we have ever had. Make a reservation and ask for Johnny Krohn! You won't be disappointed! Tobin Cady

Recently visited the new West Des Moines location after months of being open. Had a early dinner reservation that we had made in advance. However, when arriving to the restaurant, this did not appear to be necessary, even though we were guided to wait several minutes before being seated to our table, which was located on the second floor, empty dining area. We were the only couples located there. Order the refreshing organic cucumber cocktail. For me, we had a ribeye steak and crabcake which were cooked to perfection. However, I had requested the starter fortune, and the server had entered and served the dinner size portion, which was not exactly what I ordered. And she did not attempt to make any adjustments and he stated that they always serve the three serving for patience that request it served as the entrée. There's my first time there I was done the wiser.
