Great service, clean and orderly with pretty good food, a $6 double cheese burger with their tallow fried shoestring potatoes.

I appreciate the effort to make fast food a little less unhealthy. Next, let's get rid of the prcessed cheese and get real dairy chedder.

I grew up on Steak n' Shake in Indiana and Illinois. I have very fond memories of it.

On this visit to this location, our burgers were fine. The fries were fine. I ordered cheese for my fries and was given a small condiment cup only about 1/3 of the way filled with cheese. The cheese wasn't hot. It was a little warmer than Luke warm.

While I understand there are challenges with staffing since COVID-19, I feel like Steak n'...

Having grown up near a two steak n shake town, there was the old one, and a newer one, it was a real treat when we came into town, to eat at steak n shake, i have good memories. Having left illinois years ago I would only sporadically, come across a steak n shake, we used to drive a hundred miles to go to a steak n shake. They have lost the soul of what made them unique, ordering from an electronic Kiosk just isn't the same as going to a counter or talking to a waitress...
