Best NY style pizza in Des Moines! And I am from NYC.

Food was really good at this place. But the service was even better. Im pretty satisfied with the guy who served me and my family, he was actually so sweet and nice. He was on it with refilling drinks and checking in. Very family friendly as we had a 1 year old and a family of 5. 10/10 recommend. And dont sleep on the rice balls guys :b

Actual East Coast pizza!!!!! Makes this Jersey girl happy!!!!

We stopped for lunch. We grabbed two huge slices. They have a great variety of options. The crust was magnificent. It was hard to beat the quality and value for a quick lunch. We'll be back!

I’m almost annoyed that I’m writing this review. Someone from my work got a pizza from here a while back and was telling me about it being NY style etc. My view was, I lived in the north east coast for years and I’m certain that at best it will be similar to a mediocre version of it. However today I tried it and now I’m $10 down on a bet while having to face this person at my work. On the upside, when I do want a NY style pizza….👍

On a side note thanks to tipping culture, it put this into the $20/30 bracket as opposed to 10/20. Made me wonder if I should do that before tip or not? End of the day it was a collection and I was asked to tip on the screen and that’s what it cost me so. Ultimately the pizza itself was 14” with added pepperoni and it was very filling while under $20 and it was very good. I’ll be back there for sure! Place was very clean and staff were welcoming, friendly and on top of things. Fair play guys!

I have been looking for a new york pizza since we came here in twenty eleven. This is as close as I have come.It is right here in pleasant.Hill iowa. My waitress was Riley with the black hair. She was very attentive to my needs. Very relaxed personality.

Not sure why, but whenever I order a full pizza it just isn’t that great. You need to go in and order by the slice. It is the closest representation to a true NYC slice of pizza. Always friendly service and the place is clean.

Absolutely love this place! Sure the pizza is a little more pricey than your typical everyday pizza place. However, for the quality, it’s really good, and honestly I’d say it’s worth it. The workers are pretty friendly with recommendations and for people in general. On Tuesday and Wednesday’s they have this deal for a buy 2 slices get one slice free which was super awesome and worth it for the size of the slices and the quality of taste!
