I have eaten heart a few times and always loved the Cedar Frilled Salmon salad. Tonight I ordered the same for take out. I was given blue cheese dressing, blue cheese, and the salad did not look like the salad I’d had nor, obviously, did it taste even close to the ones I’d had. I called to share this and the person I talked to just said “oh.. sorry about that.” Very disappointing customer service!!! Won’t be back …
The pricing is great. The atmosphere is beautiful. The food was amazing! I had salmon, asparagus, seafood chowder, we also had some really good calamari. I tried a German Reisling, and an Italian Rosé which were both great. They do also have mixed drinks (hubby is not a wine guy) Oh, and I took a piece of key lime pie to go that was really good. All around great experience.
We loved Urban Cellar so much when we were visiting Des Moines that we came back the next night and brought several friends with us. Everyone agreed all the multiple dishes we ordered were outstanding. Nice light jazz music playing in the background and a terrific happy hour (M-F, 3-6) was the perfect way to start the evening and the mini cheesecakes were the perfect birthday desert. Kenna, Portney (sp?), and all were most accommodating and helpful with the wheelchair and service...
