About Vista Pub

Vista Pub is a fantastic bar with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a patio. It has ample parking spaces right in front of the door. While the drinks are fine, some guests have noted an automatic $1.50 charge for card payments and an occasional unpleasant odor. Despite this, the restaurant is clean and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a game or a meal, like their appealing pizzas.

We had the best time at Vista Pub this weekend! Showed up at 5:30 and had a hard time leaving at 11pm!! Food was delicious! We split pizzas, (big C & breakfast za), pretzel sticks, donuts, nachos, fries, and chicken tenders. Great atmosphere and the touch tunes were a fun touch! Drinks and food were fast and staff was really nice! Thanks for a great weekend Vista Pub!! We will be back!

Always try to stop by this gem of a dive bar whenever I’m in West Des Moines. I don’t go here for the great drinks, or consistent awesome service (those are just a bonus). It’s the pizza. I have dreams about this pizza. Sometimes I wonder how it can be that good. But it is.

Stopped in during a thunderstorm, we actually walked from our hotel and were soaked. The bartender was very sweet and gave us some bar towels to dry off. Ordered some turkey corn dogs( really wanted pizza though) and had a few cocktails. Cool vibe and nice drink selection. Everyone was very friendly.
