Wow is all I can say at first. Being one that travels for work, it's usually a hit and miss when it comes to finding a good restaurant out there. So when I was on my way home, and decided to stop at Señor Cantina Mexican Restaurant, in West Union, Iowa, I was very happily surprised. Not only is this quaint but obviously family friendly place, very well decorated, and has a unique atmosphere to it, but right away, the clerks were ready to help me, listening to everything...
This wonderful, family-owned restaurant offers excellent authentic Mexican cuisine, beers, and frozen margaritas. For less adventurous members of your party, they offer simple burgers and fries, too! The salsas are chef-made, and the various levels of heat offered are terrific! Just let staff know of any dietary restrictions. Flexible, fun, and delicious! Book ahead if you need a bigger table!
